"Did not expect them to be able to repair my tool but they had the parts and had me out the door quick 5 of 5 for these guys!!!"
"The stator (motor controll) on my impact gun went sour. They had it fixed in just a couple days, at a delightfully reasonable price. Will return for any other repairs!"
"I went to Power Tool Service located on Elm Hill Pike back on November 4, 2020 to drop off my RIDGID tool set to be repaired which has a Life Time Warranty. I have used this company for repairs in the pass. I entered the front door of the building and stood in the front area for approximately four minutes before ever being acknowledged as a customer. I noticed the employees moving around in the next room, I'm sure if I noticed them they saw me, we looked eye to eye but they continued to proceed with whatever they were doing. At that point I requested some assistance from anyone that had time to come out front. A gentleman finally came out of the rear of the store to assist me. Ask me for my credentials which I given, he indicated that they had new computers and the information I provided may no-longer be in the systems. After providing him with two different phone numbers for him to look up the previous work orders, he implied that I needed to get more information he couldn't pull it up from the numbers I provided him. Even with RIDGID being an Life time warranty company he could have started a new repair order. But yet again he refused to do so. I took the product with me went home and located an old invoice whereas the batteries had been replaced in the pass along with the original receipt of purchase took it back on November 4, 2020 the same approach by this company. I immediately called someone to the front. I refused to play the waiting game again. Another gentleman came out of the office took my product look up the information with the same information I had recently given. Information was located. My drill set was left to be diagnosed on November 4, 2020. I went by the location on November 25,2020 just to see if there was any progress, the same gentleman from my first encounter came to the front counter, indicated that he's behind he'll get to it by the Monday of the following. I immediately asked for my product and left. As i was leaving he wherever you take it they want be able to get to it as fast as we can. I implied well it should not have taken your company month just to diagnose the problem. Ridgid only needed to know if the drill was not working or if it was the battery. I left took the product directly to HOME DEPOT service department the manager diagnosed it to find out, it was only the batteries, I called RIDGID while waiting for the Manager to inform me if it was the drill or the batteries. It was the batteries Ridgid took my information over the phone spoke with the Home Depot Service Manager, I had replacement batteries in 4 days now that's customer service not a lack of Customer Service. Never base servicing customers on RACE or GENDER . I want mention what the conversation was being discussed as I walked in your company's doors Leave Politics out of the workplace. I will never use this location for repairs ever again. Well you may be knowledgeable to an extent, It's is a very unpleasant environment."
"Honest as the days are long!! I took my Makita buffer in to replace a worn out power chord, and I also asked about replacing the brushes since this buffer was aged. They told me the brushes were like new and only charged me for the power chord replacement. They could have easily charged me for brushes that I didn't need; however they proved their integrity with this visit. I highly recommend them!"
"Very helpful over the phone . They told me how to check the belt on my Porter Cable 337 belt sander as I could fix that myself and they had the belts in stock. I found a broken drive pulley instead and brought the sander in. They fixed it while I waited in 20 minutes and charged me about $15. These guys are the real deal. Honest and knowledgeable. This is the type of customer experience that you usually only dream about."
