Reviews
"I rarely leave bad reviews, but I believe the actions of this company warrant it. I reached out last week to schedule horse riding lessons for my niece, as the place I previously took her to closed. I paid for 8 lessons upfront, as required, but had one question regarding a clause in their waiver form. Rather than responding to my direct question, I received a general response stating, "this is the release form that everyone is required to agree to." I followed up with an email clarifying my question and rather than Falon responding to that question, she sent an email stating they had refunded my money! As a business owner myself, I know it is of the utmost importance to answer any questions to reinforce a sense of trust and safety with my clients. A business providing horse riding lessons should be no different. And despite my efforts to resolve the issue so as not disappoint my 9 year old niece who was looking forward to her lesson THIS WEEK, they were unwilling. I am very disappointed with the Harris Riding Academy. If you aren't prepared to answer questions regarding documents you are asking paying customers to sign, then perhaps you should reconsider the terms you are asking them to agree to. I am grateful it didn't work out so that I have the opportunity to get my niece established with a company with more professionalism and integrity."
"Excellent academy, family atmosphere, good horses, great people"
"Will and Brittany are young and capable horse business professionals! I sent him a young five gaited horse to be sold and that was accomplished in a short time. I am sending him another very soon. He will finish my two year old well bred mare as a prospect this fall!"
"We have had a great experience at this barn so far. Everyone has been very friendly and return texts and calls promptly."
"They make mistakes and blame you. They don't show up for scheduled lessons and blame you. They only want to tell you to send them emails, but don't read them anyway. They don't return your calls. They say everything is on their newsletter, but the only things there are to try to get you to spend more money. Unless you are going multiple times per week and showing, you aren't worth their time. If you confront them about anything, it's your fault. I suggest looking somewhere else if you expect even a little bit of customer service."
