"This place is amazing I came sometime last year yall are all so kind met a few cool people"
"Last year I went in voluntarily seeking treatment while in crisis. During my assessment, I mentioned that some of the issues contributing to my breakdown were political, amongst a myriad of other things. Upon my assessor asking me about this, she immediately began to counter me in political views. Twice she was removed and another woman stepped in. After my intake assessor tried to argue politics with me, and I remaining calm the whole time, they called the cops on me. I was shoved into a tiny room with four cops, two of which (KPD) said they were only there due to boredom. I believe that qualifies as intimidation and harassment considering I was never a physical threat. After allowing my PTSD relating to LEOs to max out, a woman who I had never spoken to gave the cops the approval to take me against my will. Because of this instance, I will never seek help again. I do not now, nor ever will trust the administration of this establishment, nor any in the field. Thank you for showing me that I should never trust. Thank you for showing me that asking for help in not okay, and that I remain alone. To the woman who decided to call cops on me because your staff took my mental issues personally: I hope you come down with somewhat can't be diagnosed, that there is no cure for. Maybe then you'll have a semblance of understanding for the lasting pain isolation you've caused me. Burn."
"I liked this place and wanted to continue but they billed me for the first consult that was simply entering my information into the computer. I of course don't mind paying for a actual mental health session but should not be billed for Josh to simply enter my name , address and etc. That is not a session ."
"The only staff member who actually cares about the clients is Jerry. He takes time to listen, he’s caring, compassionate and kind. The other staff members don’t respond to you when open yourself up, ignore you and leave you feeling awkward. They talk about their own problems like we really need to hear that while we’re trying to recover. I wish they had more than two options of medications to give to the patients. I kept telling them I still couldn’t sleep with the Zyprexa and that it was causing me to have really bad restless legs and they said they had nothing to give me. I thought that was very pathetic and unfair to the clients. The staff needs to stop acting scared by the clients because none of us are dangerous, we’re just trying to gain support and compassionate from others. That’s all we really need. You can’t do this job without a genuine sincere heart. Thank you Jerry! God bless your soul."
"I was honestly scared to go because I have heard horror stories about these type of places. This was my first time getting treatment and I didn't know what to expect. But the experience was worth it in every way possible. The staff was amazing, the meals are you typical cheap hospital food. The group work they do is amazing, they teach a lot of things like coping skills, boundaries, healthy thinking, and a lot of other ones. It is really cold so bring an extra blanket and if you don't you can ask for an extra one. The bathroom is in your room and the shower gets hot. They have stuff for you to shower with too. This place was amazing and it really really helped me. I cannot thank them enough. 10/10 experience would definitely recommend."
