"Dr. Doody was my OB since 2012, he was our family OB for the longest time. I came in multiple times with irregular cycles and given birth control to help and diagnosed with PCOS. It didn’t. I stopped taking it. Cycles were still irregular. My Husband and I decided to try for a family in Oct 2021. Due to my prior history of irregular cycles we consulted with Dr. Doodys office for treatment, immediately I was placed on Clomid. We tried 3 medicated natural cycles. We then tried 4 more medicated cycles with IUI’s each with a stronger dose of medication. My acne was horrible, weight was out of control and my mood was depressed and angry. I was then recommended for surgery. In June I had surgery and found stage 1 Endo and no PCOS. We tried 6 more IUI’s with very high doses of clomid. Nothing worked. I was told one more round before IVF. Each IUI was painful, each time I saw a different nurse, each ultrasound was quick and I only got one a month. Then they would guess how much my eggs would grow per day and tell me to trigger. 10 IUIs later and I had nothing to show but 40 more pounds. We decided to go to Southeastern Fertility for a second opinion. Immediately the doctor knew something wasn’t right, I was on too high of medications, my eggs were never a good size at the time of trigger and I was misdiagnosed with not having PCOS. One ultrasound later I was on Metformin 500, all new medication of Femara at a low dose and Gonal injections. 4 ultrasounds a month to check egg sizes and each time with the doctor! Never with a nurse! Our 11th IUI was not painful at all, I didn’t even feel it! We are now expecting our first child in August. I’m not saying this practice is bad, just that they have too many patients, not enough time to review your charts and help you. Too fast on cycles and old school in medical practice."

He was amazing. Heidi is amazing. The staff is so understanding and gave me so much hope to grow my family. He made me feel like he genuinely cared for me and my needs and my hopes and future.
