"I had surgery at Fort Sanders hospital in February with Dr Mabe. My nurse was Sally. They both were absolutely wonderful to me and was concerned about the medicine she gave me because of me being celiac. She even called the pharmacy to make sure it was gluten free. My only issue was the anesthesiologist. I told him I have a bad reaction to fentanyl, please don't use it. He said that is what he does and did. I spent the rest of my day after surgery, which was in my abdomen, throwing up... which really hurt! My experience on the whole was good because I had a great Dr and a good, caring nurse. Thank you Dr Mabe and Sally."

"This is my first pregnancy and unfortunately my fiancé and I had a horrible experience at my last appointment with Fort Sanders Womens Specialist, I will be transferring to a new OBGYN. The staff was rude, unwelcoming and very off-putting. It's understandable to have a bad day, everyone does, but that doesn't mean walk around the building hollering "that's all the work I'm doin today" especially when customers have been in the waiting area for over 30mins waiting to be seen. The young lady doing the checkout for ultrasounds was very inconsiderate and impatient, as if I was bothering her or interrupting her conversation with her co-worker when I tried to ask a question. She assumed I was trying to check out so she just puts her hand out for my checkout papers while continuing her conversation, when she realized I wasn't trying to check out she cut me off every time I tried to speak like she knew what I was about to ask. When we finally were called to be seen and placed in a room, it was extremally hot so we opened the door to have some air flow and one of the nurses immediately approached the door and harshly asked "y'all hot" while trying to close the door. The woman at checkout/scheduling was dull and uninviting, she was very snappy with relaying when I would need to be back to be seen. I requested to have someone's information that I could file a formal complaint with and was provided a name and phone number that I've tried to reach out to several times and left several messages but have yet to hear back from anyone. Also I've been trying to retrieve my medical records, I filled out the request form and have tried to fax and email multiple times but both fax numbers have come back busy every time. I have called the medical records department and left multiple messages but again I have not heard back from anyone. It's really unfortunate because we thoroughly enjoyed seeing my midwife Stevie Lowe, she is great and I would recommend her to everyone but the treatment you have to deal with from the staff is sadly not worth it."

"Dr. Mabe and his amazing team of nurses and staff have been nothing but excellent to me every single time. I recently had surgery on Oct.19th and it was smooth as butter with everyone. They walked me through every little detail. After surgery it was rough but I owe my nurse a huge hug. I remember her telling me it was alright and she even fed me ice chips. They all took great care of me to make sure I was warm and taken care of. They are all truly the best team I've ever had!!!! Thank you so very much to Dr. Maybe and your team!!!"

"Lana still is the BEST NP I have ever been to. She is wonderful, thoughtful, she listens to EVERY concern and talks through every situation clearly with me. She was there during my pregnancy with answers for any questions or concerns. She made sure me and baby were healthy and if she had any feeling I needed to be seen she sent me straight to Labor and delivery to be checked out. She never said “we will monitor” like a lot of places do she always has a smile and is so friendly. She is the best and I will ALWAYS choose this place to be seen at and although my daughter is a baby I hope in years to come she can also be seen here. I love it !!!"
