"Unfortunately, my experience with the bike repair service left much to be desired. I called to make an appointment to have a new e-bike assembled (it was a raffle prize I won so it wasn't a bike purchased at the store). I was told they could do the work in 2 weeks and that I should bring the bike in on the afternoon before the service day. I did as requested, only to learn that the shop is closed on Mondays. When I said something about it the next day, I was simply told, "Monday is our weekend." There was no regard for the inconvenience of getting someone with a truck to help me bring the bike in. Dealing with the service department was not much better. I tried to tell the man in charge what was needed - assemble the bike to the specs outlined in the manual and make it safe to ride since I have plans to sell it because it's too big for me. But I never received feedback indicating he understood. He was impatient and his attitude was dismissive. He made no eye contact and walked away before I could finish what I was saying. I handed a second man a pouch of parts that came with the bike and he nodded. I left there with very little faith the work would be done properly. In fact, one of the brakes rubs on the finished bike! I'll sell it with the caveat that the new owner should have it serviced somewhere else. Lastly, I was told over the phone by the original person who made the appointment that it shouldn't cost more than $50 for what I needed. The bill was $80."

I was able to customize a few of the components on a stock bike, and this was no issue for their team.
