"My grand daughter goes here and so does some of my friends kids. They don’t follow iep and the teachers got mad when my daughter asked for a meeting . I went with her for support and they were so rude and annoyed my daughter was concerned about her child since moving to this school is having D and F . She was an A B student . They as in the principle and the iep team didn’t care she was making F said to my daughter and my friends daughter who Both kids were making F they didn’t score low enough to get more help . Seems like the test or teachers need to change to help these kids succeed . No books come home just papers and the test don’t come home either just get told they make a 45 on them . Doesn’t seem like it’s organized at all the help student succeed . They only care about a few that are in every picture such as the teachers kids even though we go to all events we are never in a pic !"
"I think the teachers are amazing. Defiantly Mr. Klaput. He is amazing. I love you Mr.Klaput. He is my 5th grade Teacher. He is the ONLY Male teacher there!!!!!"
"No textbooks. They expect 4th graders to take notes and study from their notes without ever teaching them how to take notes. They send handouts home that I study with my kid. When the test comes, my kid says there were things on the test that she never had seen. I never see the graded test. This school is disappointing. They are on a 7 point grade scale; a 92 is a B, a 84 is a C, and 76 is a D. What elementary school is on a 7 point scale? My 10 year old can't walk her 6 year old sister to her classroom. This school is garbage. My kid went from getting nothing lower than a B to getting Cs. She went from a great school in Colorado to this sorry excuse of a school."
"My daughter is in the 5th grade. The teachers gave my daughter attitude everytime her mental/behavioral healtg papers had to filled out. Waited to contact me about her not completeing classwork when it was a huge problem and grades were to low to bring up before progress/report cards. Wouldnt get back with me about iep after i asked several times. Didnt 100% follow her 504 plan. She started this school aug 2015 and my husband and i are so displeased that we decided that when our lease was up jan 2016 we woulf be moving onto post. I went ahead and transferred her onto post before our offical move. This school is horrible. I dont think my daughters have had much experience working with mental/behavioral health kids. My"
"My daughter attended Glenellen in the 1st grade. It was the worst educational experience of her life. Her teacher's name was Mrs. Adams. She did not follow my daughter's IEP and she was very mean. I would stand in the hallway and listen to her speak very harsh words to not just my daughter but other students as well. The administration did very little to help. I eventually had to get the help of an advocate from the US ARMY. It was not until then , when they tried to correct the things."
