"I recently had to visit the ER on exit 11. They did a fantastic job. However, I had to be referred for a scan the next day at the main hospital and had to have it completed within 12 hours of receiving medication. The ladies at the front were friendly, however, I was sent over to the imagining department, where I waited 45 minutes to find out I was not sent to the correct department. I was then sent back to the front where I was told after calling around that the person for that particular scan was on call and was now on their way. An hour and a half later, I still hadn’t been seen. After calling the Exit 11 ER and talking to several nice employees in the Imaging area, they were able to straighten it out and get someone. The tech that did the scan was great as well. However, waiting for almost 4 hours to get a scan, almost 2 hours past the window of when I was supposed to have the scan was not acceptable. There needs to be training so everyone knows how to request those types of scans on the weekend, so people are taken care of quickly."

"This was the worst experience with a hospital. I was sent here by my oncologist for and emergency blood transfusion. They had it set up so I didn't have to go through the ER and already had a room set up for me. After 9 hours of waiting for them to transfusion I still had nothing. And no one could give me a straight reason on what was taking so long. I will never go to this hospital again, felt like the day time nurses were more interested in talking then helping their patients."

"My appointment was for 10:30am. I was finally called back 1 hour after my appointment time. The lady that did my test was super nice. She was very thorough & was friendly & kind. They need to work on timely testing. The receptionist was also kind & helpful."

"I had a great first experience at Tennova. Went in for a hernia repair surgery and it was outstanding from start to finish. Every single person that supported me was very friendly, answered all my questions and made me feel super comfortable. Honestly it was one of the best hospital experiences I have ever had anywhere I have lived. I don’t remember everyone’s names, but of the ones I remember Angel was wonderful nurse, Andrea and Andrea were wonderful as my anesthesiologist and nurse. The nurse anesthesiologist Missy was so friendly and helpful. The tech that took care of my IV was great and I didn’t feel it at all. I had received mixed reviews from friends about Tennova, but my experience was first class all the way."

"I came in here from out of state due to having a chronic illness, being tested for strep with a sore throat. Waited 2 and a half hours in the hallway for a negative test. When I explained my concerns with my chronic illness they did not take any of it seriously and sent me home without further tests or pain medicine. As someone with a weakened immune system I found it incredibly unsanitary to seat us all within 5 feet of one another with just a divider separating us. Everything was done in a hallway with zero privacy and a high chance of not only myself but others getting sick as well. I was sitting in between several highly sick people with no accommodations for my illness. The staff was rude and when I had brought up my concerns, nothing to prevent further pain or infection was done. I do not recommend this facility by any means"
