"Beautiful house but, being the Gulf & Ohio Railways headquarters, it is not accessible in the same way other historic houses in the area are. Still, it is a remarkable achievement for the city, local officials, and Linda and Pete Claussen to have such a faithfully restored and maintained piece of over 200 year old architecture in the heart of downtown Knoxville. Easy to overlook if you are too caught up in your own bustle, but a just, and all-to-rare, reward for presence and attentiveness. A truly surreal gem of the city!"
