"I love living here, but the manager Shawn tried to screw us over by trying to charge us $25 per set of blinds. We needed 3 sets. I went to Home Depot and got 2 bedroom sets for $10 each and got 1 living room set for $18. That's $38 that we paid versus $75 that she tried to charge us. What a way to try to screw us over. Other than that, I don't really have any complaints about this place"

"Hello, I have been a resident of Hillside Place Apartments for almost a year. This past Friday my refrigerator decided to breakdown. I talked to Management and they immediately put in an order for another one. I had a new refrigerator early the next morning. Everyone involved acted Swiftly and Professional!"

"If I could give it 0 stars then I would. My family and I lived here for three years. They are constantly changing management and maintenance workers. There are constantly kids running around without any parents watching them. The last manager that worked there even stole from some of the residents cars. We only lived here so long due to life circumstances and it was horrible watching the drugs go in and out of this place."

"I can't even give this place one star but in order to place this post I have to give it at least one. It is disgusting and should not be fit for humans to live in. There are so many thing wrong with this place and the shame of it, is that someone is inspecting these units if this is considered low income housing. What you have here is a slum management company. My son has been without AC for a month and it is June. Really whatever happen to it must be fixed in 48 hours. Also my sons neighbor has no AC either and was given a window unit and told to sleep in one room. REALLY. Maintenance man is that what you do at your house? The maintenance man and the leasing agent are both jokes. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!"

"What a hell hole, drug infested, dump. The manager sits on her high horse and doesn't care what happens on the property... I saw drug deals by the dozens daily, apartments get shot up, nothing gets fixed if it breaks. The apartment above ours had a bad leak in the 2nd bathroom which made water pour through our ceiling and ruined our carpet all throughout the hall and into the bedrooms several times. The manager actually had the nerve to say I was responsible for those damages. I have video where it looks like its raining in the friggin bathroom, yet she says I'm responsible. NOT! The place is eat up with bugs... And the maintenance man doesn't know how to screw in a light bulb let alone fix anything. The whole time I lived there my stove only had 2 working eyes and the oven wouldn't work half the time. I'd go to open kitchen drawers and the whole front of the drawer would fall off in my hand. The refrigerator had to be closed with duct tape because the seal was bad on it and wouldn't stay shut. My bathroom sink drain wouldn't stay open, so the whole time I lived there, I had to keep a butter knife shoved down in it so water wouldn't over flow. When I first moved in, I was told it had been cleaned and painted... HA! The place was so nasty, there were hairs from the previous renters stuck on the bathroom wall in the master bathroom and it was obvious the cabinets in the kitchen hadn't been cleaned because the last renters dishes were still in there along with dead roach bugs. The only time I ever saw them worry about cleaning the property is when inspectors were coming. The manager is pathetic and the whole complex needs to be shut down. I wouldn't want my worst enemy living there if they had children, it's disgusting and not safe at all. I was constantly scared to death there would be a shoot out between the drug dealers upstairs and across the parking lot over something stupid, or a deal gone wrong. It's unusual to go more than a couple hours without seeing the police up there. Residents jokenly call it Hellside or Pillside place."
