"I entered the community room to receive my frozen food box. Knoxville County Council of Aging distributes this box to eligible residence. Their appointed customer service representative is also a resident. She occasionally sits in a wheelchair. Once before the incident, she stood up and handed me the box. Upon my arrival this day, she stated, “you can pick up your box“! The box was placed on the floor on a very thin pallet near her body. Since this was her second week directing me in this way, I responded, ”would you mind passing it to me, you are closer“.? I stepped out of the way, and I moved to her right side.From her sitting position, she lifted the box from her left side, swung it over to her right side, and it landed into my chest. She returned to folding her arms. As she sat at the head of the tabl, with her usual six bullies, they stared at me continuously. Yes, I was disappointed. After gaining composure, I reported it to management first thing the next morning. One of the questions the manager asked me was, “what would you like me to do“? "Worst place ever to live, I lived there for almost 10 years before finally moving out, it was putting a terrible strain on me emotionally and mentally. Since moving out I've never been happier."

"This building is infested with bed bugs. My mother has been battling with them for months. They’ll do a spray, it kills them for a short time and new ones come back immediately. Her neighbor has a sign taped to her door pleading with them the come and do extra sprays, and my mother has pleaded with them to do extra sprays or bug bombing or something, because she along with other tenants are getting eaten up, but they refuse to do so. My mother is now moving in with me, and we’re trying our best to keep bugs from coming with her belongings. Her furniture is too infested to bring. Management told us we would have to move the furniture ourselves, as well as purchase enough bubble wrap to wrap the furniture before it’s carried through the building. My mothers fridge has also been giving her issues on and off for a very long time now. It’s spoiled countless items she’s purchased. They refuse to replace the fridge until a “remodel” takes place, and also told her she was not allowed to purchase a new one with her own money."

"Moved into my apartment 4 months ago. And I have to say it has been a blessing. The staff has always been friendly and seem to really care about their job and the care for the residents. Maintenance team are always friendly and are always staying busy. The location is awesome with a bus stop in front of the property and the mall in the rear of property. Residents are for the most part friendly and seemed tobe always in a cheerful mood. The programs they have in place here are great as well, they give the Residents the feeling of independence yet support for there everyday needs. I love it here."

"I found the Staff to all be very helpful and knowledgeable Maintenance staff really goes above and beyond to keep things running. I love my little StudioHallways are generally quiet. My only complaint would be the appliances are past their lifespan. if they spent money on new appliances It would be perfect Office Staff have a lot to do and do a great ob with returning emails and phone. I'm very happy here"
