"If I could give less than 1 star for this business and its owner, I would. This shop does have some nice merchandise however the owner has unscrupulous business practices and cannot be trusted. This goes back to August of this year. When I purchased some items from her, she shared that she buys vintage Hawaiian clothing and if I had anything to sell, to bring it buy. I had three Hawaiian dresses that no longer fit so I came in the store (which has very limited hours) and the store owner, Diane was not there. So her associate called her on the phone and Diane said if I leave the dresses there she will look at them over the weekend and call me with a price suggestion if she wanted to purchase them from me. The weekend goes by, no call. On Monday, I call and leave her a message. She texts me back confused asking me odd questions and not telling me what she would offer for the dresses. A couple days later, she says she sold one of them and she will give me $20. I asked her "how can you sell something when we have not agreed to a price"? She responds by saying that I told her associate when I dropped them off $20 each ( a complete lie). We have a text exchange where she accuses me of trying to extort money from her (really??). I ask her to Venmo me the $20 and I will come get my other dresses. She tells me not to come near her store so I ask her to mail the dresses, never happens. I wanted to send someone in to get my dresses but her store is rarely open and I can't spend my whole day trying to figure out her business hours. I decide this lady Diane is just crazy and I can't deal with her form of crazy so decide to do nothing. Not that important to me. Let it go. But no! A month later, she says she wants to Venmo me for all three dresses. I tell her that is fine and give her my venmo info. She keeps telling me I have not provided my Venmo info. So I send her all four ways to reach me in Venmo. I even go so far as to request the money through HER venmo. But no, nothing. I text her again and say I will just come pick up my two dresses which technically belong to me and she does not respond. Then a day later, she says I am playing games with her by not giving her my Venmo information. Okay, who is playing games here now? I even sent her a tutorial video on how to use Venmo because she is older and I believe missing some common sense or faculties. Still nothing. At this point, I could pursue legal action against her but I don't chose to invest the energy in that. Diane, you just keep the money for the dresses you sold without my permission. I just want to warn others out there NOT to try and sell this woman anything. She is a horrible business owner."
"Wonderful owner. Great original Hawaiian style artwork. great selection of used, vintage and new Hawaiian themed goods."
"A fun hidden gem on main street. They have a wide selection of tiki themed art and carvings, vintage Aloha shirts, and old Martin Denny records for sale. A great place to stop by if you are working on a tiki bar at home!"

"If you have not yet allowed yourself the opportunity to visit this hidden gem in downtown Ventura you need to add it to your "To Do" list. We popped in on Saturday afternoon just to check it out and spent nearly an hour trying on and purchasing various "one-of-a-kind" and "unique" Hawaiian print shirts. The owner Diana and her very attentive daughter Sarah/Sara (sp) were both extremely helpful. Diana has a story for nearly everything in her store which make the experience all the better. Sarah/Sara (sp) should be in marketing....she is such a fan of her mother's business and it clearly shows in how she explains the various social media platforms where you can get more information. I really appreciate her enthusiasm. We purchased ten shirts and a couple of pillows. One pillow we will be coming back to purchase because Diana being as consciousness as she is insisted on addressing a minor flaw on it before we take it home. This great little shop is packed with very unique tropical themed items that you will not find in big retail stores - so do yourself a favor and go visit Diana and Sarah/Sara (sp) and say hello to Fred too if he's hanging around. They are a great family and I am so happy I found several "Relaxing Walk On The Beach" shirts!! Thanks Diana, Sarah/Sara (sp) and Fred - ~~Scott & Kevin~~"
