"I love living here! It’s quiet, clean, safe and the staff is awesome. Location is wonderful and I love living so close to the greenline!"
"Move-in experience after 2 weeks: The application process was quick, the staff was friendly. However, some details were overlooked. I enquired about a 6-month lease, but the original application that sent to me was for 12 months. The lease also contained the incorrect building and apartment number that was discussed. The grounds are nice and well maintained. There is plenty of grassy areas and parking. The apartment itself is in mostly good condition. Overall, the value for the money is subpar compared to similar communities nearby. The quality of the appliances is not as good or modern as other communities in the area. Same for the finishings. For example, the apartment's dishwasher, faucets, kitchen sink, washer/dryer are not as nice as other communities. The range cooktop is not gas or glass-top, but metal coil heating elements. The apartments do not come with a microwave. Additionally, they do not offer valet trash service. There is one centrally located dumpster that is not convenient for most of the buildings due to the size of the complex. The car wash does not have a vacuum. The apartment complex does not have a gate and several exterior parking area/pathway lights are out or broken around the complex. Most concerning so far has been the maintenance response time and management's accountability. After I signed my lease, I alerted them to the incorrect apartment number before move in. Although they were able to change it for me, they realized I shouldn't have been assigned a 6 month lease as it wasn't available. They told me I could only do a 7 month lease. When I explained I had already signed the lease for 6 months, the property manager told me the lease wasn't valid until she signed it, implying they wouldn't honor it even though I had paid the deposit, signed it, and was 1 day away from moving in. One extra month wasn't a big deal for me, so I took it, but the aggressive approach and lack of accountability for their mistake was annoying. Also, a week after move-in I put together a list of maintenance items to be addressed. Nothing dire, but also not insignificant. For example, the patio storage door had not been rekeyed to my new keys and I couldn't access it, the garbage disposal didn't work, weather stripping was hanging off the door frame, the dryer's timer didn't work, etc. I put in a maintenance request and it's been 8 days but no work has been done yet. When I called to inquire about an ETA, I was told they were fixing A/Cs and I would have to wait until they got to me. This was already a week since I opened the tickets so I can't image they've just been fixing A/C's for 8 straight days (quite concerning, if so!). Instead of taking ownership, they seemed very put off that I was concerned I hadn't heard from maintenance over a week after I had originally submitted my requests. After the first weeks, the place is fine but there is definitely better value for the money in the area. I'll update again in the future."
"If I could give this apartment complex less than 1 star, I would. The staff was rude and the apartment was infested with mold, even after they fixed it the first time. When I told them about the mold that had been making me sick, they said that I would have to wait til they could schedule someone to come out to fix it. It was in EVERY single one of my vents. When they came to fix it it obviously grew back like mold does. When I asked to switch apartments they said that I couldn't. So, I finally decided to move out of this complex for health reasons and requested that they not charge me to move out due to the mold in the apartment and it making me sick. The conclusion was that they would have their boss call to discuss it with me. He didn't and they decided to place it on my credit report as a collections... the audacity. No calls, no emails after October to let me know they couldn't work it out to take the amount off for moving out early. DO NOT rent from this apartment complex unless you would like to deal with the same problems."
"Stayed here for 3.5 years from 2017 to early 2021. Despite its exorbitant rent rates, I would highly recommend the Bridges to anyone. The complex has a great sense of community; many kids play outside every evening in the common area. It is zoned to Riverdale K-8 and Houston High, two of the best schools in Tennessee. It is also located in close proximity to Germantown Road, where one can find any and every store they may wish to shop at!"
"If you asked me a year ago to give this place a review, I would have given it a solid 4 out of 5. I've lived here for 6 years. The grounds are well kept and the neighbors keep to themselves. Over all the neighborhood is friendly. BUT this does not excuse the lack of maintenance. Since my family and I have moved in here, it takes several tries for the management to come and help. For example, my window has been broken for over a year and we have requested several times for them to come fix it. They have not. The only thing keeping it together is duct tape. Another example is when our washing machine had rusted and we told maintenance 6 times to replace it. It took over a month for them to replace the broken washer. The only reason we got it replaced was because our downstairs neighbor's apartment was flooded from our water. Since we have lived here for 6 years, I'm not upset about it because things break and wear down over time, but what happened next infuriates me. MOLD we have been living in it for years and did not really notice it. We told management and they have done nothing about it, so we hired a company to look at it and let me just say it is really bad(I have attached a photo below). However, the maintenance once came to change our heating system and they did not tell us about the mold, they just put a new heating cooling system in to replace the old one. This made me sad and disappointed. This place is in a great location and is very quite, but the mainagment is REALLY slow. I love this place, but this just broke my heart. The mold is in the bathrooms, in the ducts, on vents, a little on walls, and on ceilings."
