"I've been going here for years with almost no issues, up until the last year. Not updating my information. Billing wrong insurance or just not sending the bill to insurance at all. After the past three visits I've had to call customer service to fix multiple mistakes"
"Incredible experience. Lauren G Moody & her assistant Heba were amazing from start to finish! They were prompt and thorough. Lauren gave me her complete attention and answered all of my personal questions. Previously, I have had difficulty with my insurance kicking back my birth control RX. Lauren already knew a pharmacy that accepts my birth control and had minimal copay. From reception to check out this place cares about your health and your time. Couldn’t be happier to have found this place. Thank you all so much!!"
"I had my first son with Vanderbilt Franklin Women's Center two years ago. I am only just now writing my review because I have had my second baby elsewhere and my experiences were drastically different. At VFWC, the staff is rushed at every visit, and not relational. When I asked my provider about a birthing plan I was quickly shut down and told not to make one. At every prenatal appointment the doctor was in an out in under a couple minutes. Any discomfort or pain I would bring up was responded to with a quick, "well that's just pregnancy." If you are looking for a birthplace that cares about your preferences, wants to help walk you through concerns or questions, or help you feel safe during your pregnancy, birth, or postpartum this is not the place. When I delivered my son- he was pulled out by vacuum. All the time nothing was being communicated to my husband and I, even though we were asking what was happening. You have to deliver at Williamson and the nurses there were unfriendly. A couple of them were so rough with my cervical exam it was very painful. I felt like I was a bother for being in pain during labor and the whole experience was disappointing. After delivering my baby it felt like pulling teeth to get help. I had a really painful and long recovery and felt like the staff was irritated by my questions and reaching out for help. I had been really struggling with some PPD and PPA in the weeks following my son's birth, then in my 6 week follow up appointment, the nurse came in and without making eye contact, communicated, "these are just questions we have to ask.", and then began asking if I was depressed, etc., it all felt so cold and I didn't communicate I was struggling because it didn't feel like they'd care if I was. Overall a disappointing first pregnancy and birth experience."
"Perhaps the providers are ok...but just FYI to them that you are not being represented that way when people call. Tried to make an appointment today. Whoever the lady is that answers the phone (or did so on Friday 8/25 at 9:30 am) needs a new profession. I need a new gyn because mine (who I loved) went the concierge route. We couldn't even get through her obtaining my general information (name, DOB, etc) because of her rudeness and cutting me off. I finally said I'd just call another office. I typically only leave positive reviews. I've worked in healthcare for about 20 years and try to give grace, but her attitude/demeanor was unacceptable."
"I have had a good experience at this office. Dr. Woodall is my main provider and she is very knowledgeable, understanding, and efficient. She listens and dialogues with me about my concerns and perspectives. I trust her and feel like we are a team in decision making. I switched from another office about halfway through my pregnancy in hopes of finding a more experienced OB and an office that works together. And overall that is true! Everyone from the phlebotomist to the OB to the check out seem to be on the same page. However, I do not like that when you call, you don't actually call the office, but rather an answering service (it feels like a barrier to care, a deterrent, and can lead to a frustrating game of phone tag) I will say, though, that most of the time I have received a call back quickly."
