Labcorp at Walgreens

"I went for the first time in June of 2023. It cost me 300 dollars. The sample wasn’t enough, so I was called in for a re-collect. I came back in November for the re-collect, and my sample was “lost”. Couldn’t get a straight answer as to what happend. I came back in January of 24 to try and get the test again. They said I owed 70 dollars, and it would cost an additional 40 dollars to do the test again. So I came back for the recollect in November, which was suppose to cost zero dollars, because I paid the 300 in June, when it actually cost me another 70 dollars. Keep in mind I’ve never gotten ANY results from the two times my blood has been drawn, and cannot get an answer from anyone, and cannot get my 300 dollars back for services that WERE NOT PROVIDED. Please consider another provider if you are in the fence about this place. Don’t do it. It’s only going to cost you money ,and get zero results, and no one can give you an answer about anything."

"Had an appt for blood work for my daughter at this Labcorp that’s located within a Walgreens. Upon our arrival and check in a staff member claimed that due to “flooding” they couldn’t service customers at the time of our appt, though the Walgreens itself was fully operational and had no signs of flooding, nary even a roof leak. Furthermore, the staff chose not to call us and reschedule our appointment or to simply use their system to cancel our appt, which would have messaged us and saved us an unnecessary trip. Instead, they decided to do nothing but tell us upon check-in that they couldn’t help us. The staff member we spoke with was curt and showed zero regard for both our time and gas being wasted, not to mention we had to wait 3 days for the appt time itself. I’m just thankful we have a choice in labs moving forward and will take our business elsewhere. Shameful customer service and management by this LabCorp location. Update: I am delighted and thankful my insurance helped me find an alternative lab in Quest Diagnostics on Parkside and Cedar Bluff, which scheduled us in the very next day and provided a wonderful customer experience. We will happily use Quest moving forward. Labcorp, please prioritize customer service training for your staff. This location needs some work."

"I was there early and they took me back early. I had to get a LOT of blood drawn. She was so quick and efficient I didnt feel a thing. Both nurses were kind and caring and I highly recommend this location. I was nervous because they have some bad reviews, but I had a very positive experience."

"Very convenient lab location in the old clinic area of the Walgreens. The hours are wrong here. They are open 8am till 5pm with an hour closes for lunch noon till 1pm Monday thru Friday and closed on weekends. Checkin is through a kiosk and walk-ins are fine. Located just next to the pharmacy."

"Best lab experience I’ve had! It’s a newer facility, so it’s bright and clean. Check-in was easy and digitized. I arrived at 8am, so I was the first person in line, but I appreciate that they give the option of waiting in your car. And last but not least, the two women working that day were the best techs I’ve ever had—very friendly and efficient! I’m just sorry I didn’t catch their names. My new go-to lab spot if ever needed!"
