"This is the WORST Hilton I've ever stayed in!!!!! Main light is out in my room, the refrigerator roared ALLL night, when you wet your towel you see your hand, breakfast was cold, bacon was sooo burnt and hard. we asked for more and was told that it's all like that! asked for shelled eggs and didn't get that. menu says red skin potatoes, NOT, and they are hard and cold!! under the sink in the bathroom stuff was splashed all over the walls. The curtains kept popping back open, so we had to sleep with the curtains open. The room was filthy and worn. need a overhaul on these rooms. once you leave the lobby area, IT'S OVER!!! we just left the Hilton in Southfield Michigan and it was perfect!!! I'll never stay here again!!!!!!ALSO..... We were told that they were cooking more bacon and she'd bring more out. well.... she never brought out any more bacon and.... the lights are out, all food is being pulled, and they're cleaning up!!!!!WOW!!!!!! CAN YOU SAY CRAP!! SIGNED ANGRY This is the WORST Hilton I've ever stayed in!!!!! "The hotel, in general, is fine. It's an average hotel and I have no complaints about the rooms. They are decent for the price. However- safety is a huge concern at this hotel. There are car break-ins on a regular basis and the hotel refuses to hire nightly security for the parking lot. I didn't sleep the entire night because car alarms were going off throughout the night. It's a convenient spot for crime because it's right off the interstate and a major road. I guess I should have known what I was getting into when I had to sign a contract at check in to not have parties or smoke weed in the room. Love that. Pro tip: Just leave your car unlocked and take everything out if you stay here. That way they won't bust the windows."
"2nd time at this location, I would have loved to given this location at least all 4 stars. The room was beautiful, I received a courtesy message before my stay which was much appreciated. But the service from the front desk was very disappointing. I was was standing directly in front of the woman, announced myself and still received no response because her face was planted in her phone. I had to speak twice to even get her face out of the phone. Received no information beside that the elevators were around the corner. No breakfast information, check out time, room service schedule. Just “ elevators are around the corner”. And I’m pretty sure she continue to her phone sitting at the front desk"
"Great location. Quiet, and right across the street from Ikea and shopping center. Great pillows. But, seems like a it's misleading to think there's breakfast included. It's not. Bathroom shower faucet won't stay, so the entire shower is an unstable temp. And our room was not stocked, no coffee, but even knowing this, she tells me we are supposed to get waters in our room also, that we can come get? Not the Hilton comforts we expect."
"Be careful eating here. The kitchen manager was scratching her head and then touching food without gloves on! The chef was in proper uniform, including gloves. It's sad really, the chef is definitely more management material than the actual manager. The menu says that made to order plates include fruit, bagels and toast as well as coffee, juice and milk. We ordered off the menu, and when I looked at the bill we were charged for fruit. When I questioned why we were charged, the waitress said she has never even read the menu and I would have to speak to the manager. The kitchen manager then proceeded to get loud with me in front of all of the other customers that were eating. I was just trying to get some clarity as to why they were charging us for something that the menu says is included. I asked her if this was their policy, so that when I did my review I could state that it is their policy. She got even louder, started walking away while being loud and told the waitress to just take it off because she wasn't going to argue with me. She is extremely disrespectful, and lacking knowledge of the menu apparently. The gentleman at the front desk with the red hair was extremely friendly and very professional. It's a shame that the kitchen manager is so unprofessional, because the front desk and chef were incredible. I hope someone will take the time to train her properly if she is going to continue to be a manager. Public relations are a large part of that position, which she isn't equipped for. Also, as per this particular hotels policy, you cannot use your daily credit towards alcohol. It would definitely be nice to be informed of this at check in."
