"Hilton is usually my choice of hotels anytime I travel and I’ve never had any issues, until I stayed at this location. It’s not located in a shady area, it’s a great and busy area surrounded by many businesses, it’s the type of people that hang out there that is shady. When we arrived at 6pm to check in, there was a group of guys hanging outside and talking really loud. It made checking in uncomfortable. The lady at check-in was not very helpful and actually tried to charge me more than my stay! I told her and she made it seem like it was a burden for her to charge me less. Customer service was definitely a miss here. Rooms and lobby are separate so you have to drive around back to the rooms. We were by the entry door outside and that door slammed every time someone came in, it was so loud and disruptive. I don’t know why they can’t find a solution for that. Rooms were not clean at all. We got a handicap bathroom and had no bottom bar to keep the water from the shower in so the whole bathroom was drenched for the whole night we were there and only drain was in the shower. It was horrendous. Bathroom was dirty, toilet wasn’t clean. Beds were made but blankets were dirty and stained. Breakfast was phenomenal and the staff that served it was so pleasant. Probably the only reason this place got 2 stars. I don’t know if it’s just Memphis in general but every hotel is Econolodge vibes, just with different pricing. For $200 a night here, it felt like a super 8. I would not recommend staying here, this place is rundown."
"Shuttle driver "ROM" is very friendly. He is always on time picking us up from the airport to hotel. His personality is contagious! One of the better hotels in the area. Lots of restaurants and shopping. Larger rooms and great layout. Full refrigerator and small stove. Free breakfast and say hello to Ms. Betty. Wonderful woman! Employees all friendly and respect you like their family. Especially Glenda. Highly recommend this hotel."
"Awful hotel and awful service. Lady at the front desk didn’t tell me where to go at all . The digital room key didn’t work, which meant I had to walk all the way back around to the front with my kids to get the key. Finally get a physical key. But the elevator doesn’t work so we had to walk all the way around just to get our room that is right beside the broken elevator. Then when we get inside of our room smells like pee because the toilet has overflow and water is all over the bathroom floor. Then I called the front desk the only option she has for me is a smaller room or I can get a refund. Nothing about compensation or nothing."
"Stayed here about a week ago, for 3 nights. It was a same night booking as the hotel we booked on Expedia was not as advertised. Brandi at the front desk was excellent! Great customer service! She went above and beyond to help us. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was great. Bed was comfortable. We will definitely stay here again."
"I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for a work trip. The location is quite charming, and I must say the staff I crossed paths with were like the poster children for politeness – genuinely nice folks. As for the hotel itself, well, it's a bit like that awkward friend who's caught between being cool and being a bit outdated. The appliances, TVs, and decor are definitely on the newer side, which is a plus. But then there are these pieces of furniture, like the chair at my kitchen table, that seem to have a secret life as chew toys. I didn't see any puppies around, so I'm not sure what's going on there. Now, the beds, let's talk about those. They're not exactly marshmallow clouds, if you catch my drift. If you're looking for a good night's sleep, you might end up feeling like Goldilocks, trying to find that "just right" spot. And the AC unit? Well, it's got quite the personality. It seems more interested in changing the room's pressure to make you feel like you're on an adventure than in actually cooling the room. It's loud, and I swear it even vibrates to its own beat. All in all, this hotel is like that quirky relative you can't help but love, flaws and all, good think it’s only temporary and not permanent."
