"Stopped in to get some balloons for my dads birthday, so didn't really "shop" the store - headed right for the balloon counter where I found ready-made bouquets - a very convenient option. However, the price tag that was attached to the bouquet said $23, the girl at the counter also said they were $23. So I was surprised to see that the "ready-made" bouquet price didn't include the weight that was attached to the bouquet. That didn't really make sense but I bought them anyway. However, the person verifying the cost should've said something like, the "BALLOONS" are $23, you'll pay extra for the attached weight. While it was only $2.30 more for the weight, the cost went from a $23 bouquet to $25.30 and the weight was not "optional". It was part of the bouquet and at no point was I asked if I wanted the weight, I was just charged. Odd and not a good practice. That's like going to the florist, picking up a bouquet that has a $23 price tag, and when you get to the counter, they charge extra for the water, yes, you could dump the water, but the bouquet was displayed with it. Not a good idea. Misleading. I was happy to pick up the balloons and was out of there in a few minutes. Beware, popcorn ceilings and mylar balloons do not mix. The centerpiece to my bouquet, a very large balloon, popped when it touched the ceiling as I entered the residence...."

"I drove from Hemet to Redlands for a costume that my daughter really wanted. I did find it at this location. The young lady on the costume section was excellent in assisting me in what I was looking. My experience at this place was RUINED when it was time to checkout. I used my debit card to pay like I normally do, and it got declined. (To be in the clear my debit card was fine and with funds available). Now this is not what upsets me about the situation, but by the manner in which it was handled. The cashier simply said to me "your card got declined". So I said to her that I wanted to try again, so did. Card got declined again, by this time she proceeded to call the supervisor or manager not sure what he was. He too simply said your card is the declined and the machine has been working well all day. I would of greatly appreciated if they would of even attempted to help me by simply trying a different register to see if indeed it was my card or their machine, but they failed to do so. I did purchase the item anyway but on any other occasion I would of just left it. Very dissappointed on how this was handled. By the way I went to try my card at different location after leaving Party City and it WORKED without a hitch."
