"Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with J & M. I originally called mid December to have my ice dispenser fixed and had a tech come out to fix it, and he did. I immediately noticed a new problem happening but I waited until the tech would come back with parts to repair the freezer lights. 5 weeks later I explained to the tech what happened as soon as he left back in December. His response was some other wires may have been damaged as a result of his work and that I now needed a new door. I commented that if the problem happened as a result of his work then shouldn't he be responsible for fixing that as well. He said no and then decided to stop any further work and advised me his manager would contact me. So after waiting 5 weeks for the lights and not getting them installed we now are the owners of a lightless freezer with new electrical problems. I finally had to call the manager myself and she agreed that some other wires may have been damaged but her solution was the same, that I had no recourse other than to buy a new door. I declined for fear that if I continued to spend more money with this company, it would just create a never ending cycle of paying for new problems caused, I believe, by their technician. Beware!"

He is thorough, professional and respectful and was very knowledgeable in troubleshooting the technical issues we were having with our new GE Cafe French Door refrigerator. "We had J&M come out to check our refrigerator because the icemaker was not working. The repair guy pulled the refrigerator from the wall and supposedly diagnosed the problem and told us that the 3 year old refrigerator could not be repaired! It sounded pretty odd to me. So we paid the house call charge of over $100 to learn that our fairly new Frigidaire was not repairable. I called Frigidaire and was told that indeed it could be fixed so I got a local, independent repair service and bingo we now have ice! Don't use this company! They have hired guys that don't know what they are doing or who are too lazy to repair and just want to collect their "house call" fees."

"Had a great experience with J & M Applicance, Inc. They were extremely responsive, kind, and professional. I loved the way that appointments were scheduled, and how the customers are updated throughout the process. Well done J&M! "Our technician severely lacked professionalism. After looking at our refrigerator, he looked around our house and noticed my girlfriend had a guitar in the room. He proceeded to harass her by demanding she play music for him. He made comments like "you're so cute, I just want to hear you play" and "come on, I did my part, now you have to do yours." His name might have been Johnny but we're not positive. Overall, I am disgusted by the technician's comments and will not be using this company again."
