"I must write this because Myrna at SEW WHAT is the most amazingly skilled expert designer/seemstress!!! My fiancee's bridal gown customizations were a TALL order! We challenged several bridal alteration shops in 3 counties; no takers -- until Myrna! Even with no budget limits, the first 7 shops we visited had to decline. We were told our gown design requests simply could NOT be done. Myrna patiently listened to what we wanted... She Altered a couple of lines in the re-design-- (even added a couple of POCKETS which are so handy in a bridal gown!) The gown turned out more beautifully than we could have dreamt! Our long arduous search, the hours of time spent driving and worrying and seeking a bridal salon with an alterations department at the skill level of our needs, -- not to mention, some sleepless nights, ill say it suddenly became ALL WORTH IT the very moment we met Myrna! She deserves a MEDAL for her professionalism, patience, understanding and expertise! My fiancee is generally NOT easy to please, but Myrna's work goes above and beyond! Thank you, Myrna! No dollar amount can ever match the happiness of such a beautiful job done ! We (my fiancee) got the gown beyond our dreams --and with such personable service!"

"Solid 5 stars. I brought my gown to several tailors and no one was able to solve my problem. i had heard about Sew What Tailoring but it was a long drive. Anyway I ended up making the drive and Im so happy I did. The owner was really patient and had no issue at all with my gown. The gown looks perfect. Shes like a very high level surgeon for for dresses. Its amazing how everything came out. Even better than I anticipated. Thank you so much"

"Excellent. I was wondering about the 1 star reviews, because they were all basically saying she did not have time, or was too busy. Now I know why she is hard to get an appointment with. Nobody I spoke with that does alterations said they could correct my gown. They looked at me as if I was crazy. When I spoke with Myrna and met with her for our appointment it was like she had done similar or more challenging jobs 100 times over. She just took some measurements and that was it. When I got the gown back it was perfect. The 1 or 2 star reviews have nothing to do with her alterations. They are based on not being able able to get an appointment right away. She is probably the best seamstress in California. It's a dying breed to find someone at this level unfortunately."

"I love Myrna! Yes you need to have an appointment but you should expect that with a seamstress because they need to be able to stay on schedule. And no seamstresses can provide estimates on the phone because they need to see the garment to know what needs to be done (how many layers, where are the seams, etc.). That's like asking a doctor to diagnose you over the phone without seeing you in the office to run tests. Myrna is fairly priced and she works with your schedule. You can't ask for anything better in someone who is going to make you look fabulous."
