Reviews
"Great service! Friendly and knowledgeable staff! Recommend."
"I thought I’d already wrote a review about these guys. But they’ve saved me thousands of dollars and been extremely helpful in the interim. When I moved to Knoxville I got in a crash in my truck that resulted in a tweaked frame. Not bad enough to total the car in my opinion but bad enough that it wouldn’t go in a straight line. A couple shops tried to sell me a new frame for about 15k and said no one would touch it. Petes was able to re-tweak it and align it and I drove the truck for many more years without issue. Since then I’ve brought them every car I’ve owned for alignments, and I bring them back every 30k miles. It keeps my tires from premature wear and makes the cars safer and more comfortable to drive. I hope they stay in business for many more years."
"Paid 35+tax to put my car in the lift and look for a power steering leak. Fixed that section of line and still leaks from somewhere else. I called and talked to the manager and he said not everyone is perfect but he would not refund my money and had no interest in working on my car. He provided no solution other than to say he wouldn't refund my money. I spent about 20$ on parts to fix the line where they said it was leaking only to find out that it was leaking on the rubber hose above and to the left of it. Now they won't answer."
"Stay away if you value your life! Had in for a clunking noise in the front drivers side. They did find the cause and fixed. However, a week later on a trip along I-75 I stopped to stretch my legs. When I got back in and put in drive the front started bucking off the ground and making a grinding metal on metal noise. Checked and discovered the brake caliper had come off because the bolts had come out from them not tightening. The caliper had also cut an eighth inch deep groove around the entire inside of the wheel. Thankfully there was an autozone nearby and was able to get a couple of bolts. When I went to take the wheel off allowing better access, I found the lug nuts were only finger tight. I'm very thankful that it all didn't come apart while out on the interstate! But wait....it only gets better! Vehicle sat parked for the next month while we were on vacation. When I got back I was driving on I-40 when it began pulling to the left. After several times of correcting, I decided that I needed to get off the road as something wasn't right. When I let up off the accelerator, the Vehicle immediately turned left and through the guardrail. Fortunately there was a wide grassy area between east and westbound lanes, so I didn't go into oncoming traffic. I then took the vehicle to two different certified repair shops and had checked out. Both have verified that not only the front end alignment I was charged for wasn't done, but they didn't grease the new serviceable ball joints that Pete's installed. I got everything in writing from the shops. Then I called Pete's to let them know. I was asked what I expected them to do. I let them know that the "nationwide insurance repair insurance policy" they provide will not cover any damages caused by the faulty repair job. I told them that I had filed a claim with my insurance and asked for them to cover the deductible. Do I even need to say how that went? Anyway, $11,000 later in damages and now will probably be paying a higher insurance rate, all because of Pete's! Guess I should just be thankful that I'm alive and if you value your life or that of any passengers, you will go somewhere else! Responding on original post because there's no option otherwise. Did call and was told that I'd get a call back. That was about a month ago. You know who I am and have my contact information. If you truly cared about customer service and high "quality" service, you would have returned contacted me, but instead only making a comment on a bad review"
"Pete's Alignment Service has been in the same location for over 70 years and employees some of the same employees it did more than 30 years ago. They specialize in Alignments, Front end work, frame straightening, and suspension work. They are one of the only shops around that you can take your car or truck to and ask for a manual alignment or a laser alignment."
