"I've never left a Google review in my life. Do not take your car here. They'll look you in your eyes and lie. Got a tire patched, drove home, next morning it's completely flat. Put the spare on, drive back up there and they say it's a SEPERATE nail I must have picked up on the way home. Proceed to charge me for a second patch and tells me my oil is 5k miles over and due for a change which I KNOW was not true."

"Do not go to Summit Tires in Bartlett. They are dishonest. They will tell you one price then give you a completely different one after re-diagnosing. After tire light stayed on, they stated another sensor was bad after telling me that 2 tires and a sensor would have light go off. When the light didn’t go off, they stated another sensor was bad then hung the phone up in my face. Dishonest and the worst service ever! Matt is a lying salesman."

"I have never had a bad experience here despite what some of the other reviews state. I've found the employees to be polite and while they do try to upsell you some services (it's their job) they are always very clear about what is necessary and what is optional and the pricing for each. I would not hesitate to take my car back there and I always refer friends who continue to go too."

"I got a new set of tires installed. When I got my car back my Iphone charger and my rx Rayban glasses were missing. Whoever stole them won't enjoy them. I wear bifocals. I was extremely disappointed."

"WARNING!!! Summit Tire and Auto are Scam artists! My 80+yo father in law brought his Smart cart by Summit a couple weeks ago to have a low tire pressure warning checked out. This shop proceeded to talk him into replacing the front struts, sway bar links and rear shocks. This should have been a $1,500 job, $2,500 at the very most. Instead they charged him $11,000 in advance of the service!!!! Luckily we found out before the work was performed, as that is at least un-ethical (vehicle worth is only $12K) and at most robbery! In addition, we questioned whether the work was even necessary (it only has 24k miles on it). The shop refused to refund the money, but fortunately my in laws use American Express!! As a follow-up, we took the car to a reputable shop - Watkins Automotive - and they confirmed that the shocks, sway bar links and struts were fine. They did replace the TPMS sensors, which was the real issue, for a very reasonable fee. Moral of the story - DO NOT USE Summit Tire and Automotive, unless you want to support a company that scams the elderly."
