"A different grocery store stopped carrying a specialty item we bought frequently, so we checked here to see if we could get it and we lucked out. The item was definitely more expensive at La Lupita but we'll likely be back anyway, as it is also closer to us. Didn't need anything else, so we didn't really check the pricing on other items, but they seemed to have a decent variety with a separate area for eating too."

"This is my favorite La Lupita location! The food is always amazing! We love buying imported spices, snacks, and more. The in house fresh chorizo and Queso Fresco are also worth purchasing to take home. We pre-ordered delicious Tamales for the holiday recently. Amazing! We never celebrate Christmas and New Years without tamales. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend this location. If you eat in be patient because they get busy and fill up quickly. It's worth the wait! NOTE: For all the Americans coming in to eat I have read your comments. YOU HAVE TO GET YOUR OWN DRINK! Get it from the cooler or the fountain area if you want soda or tea. The server will add it to your bill! Get it before you sit down like everyone else does! This is an authentic Latin restaurant not a Mexican/American restaurant!"

"Would have given 2 stars if the food hadn't been so good. Sooo very long story, short... my husband didn't get a drink, I didn't get my Tostada (his drink wasn't on the bill but my tostada was) The food was fantastic though and the prices were good. There was a very big language barrier but the food was so good we'll probably go back!"

"I’m not the one to leave a bad review since this place has everything I need when I go shopping there. I was really craving their 3 leche cake since I’m pregnant and when I got home and took a bite of it, turns out it was already expired! The container says that the cake doesn’t expire til next week but who knows how long it’s been sitting in the fridge. I think whoever runs the store should inspect their products if they are still good to sell regardless of expiration date especially if it’s homemade. Definitely don’t want to get any food poisoning especially if pregnant."
