"Oh my goodness, I went to the new store and it was awesome! It was where the old ace hardware used to be. Much smaller but clean and well organized!"
"I had not visited this store in years! It use to feel dark and dirty and was always a mess. Yesterday I was at the shopping center and decided to try again. I was so glad I did! The store was clean, welcoming, bright and nice to shop in. The store worker mentioned to me that they desperately need men's clothing. If you need to clean your closets, donate to these people."
"I entered the store and was greeted by a lady who was on the telephone. So I got to hear all of the gossip about her fellow employees who is stealing what and who said what about whom who is trying to get her fired, whoshe would like to see fired etc. There was a woman that asked to use the restroom and she directed that woman to the dollar general a few doors down. When this customer was unable to hold her bladder and had an accident the employee was mean to her and told her that she didn't make enough money to clean up people's urine I'm sure that is a true statement but she was very mean about it and the woman cleaned up her own mess and left the store. Then another customer came in and she proceeded to tell this customer what had just happened and pointing out who it was. After this customer left she was back to her phone conversation which was active the entire time I was in the storeand she was still talking about the woman that had an accident she then told her telephone friend that if it wasn't bad enough that she had an accident in the store . She was not even a woman and that she was in fact a man dressed as a woman. I had several things I was going to purchase. But when I heard that come from her it was the last straw for me I dropped my selections said that's it I'm done here and I walked out. That horrible rude and unkind woman doesn't belong in a position with the public. She needs to be reassigned to a solitary position where she can't be heard . I won't return while she is on the payroll. And I have told this story to everyone I know and even the homophobes are outraged by that woman's behavior. This took place on Monday at around 5pm. I suppose we are all entitled to our opinions but we don't need to know those of everyone especially when they are so mean and heartless and the whole thing was unprofessional as hell."
"Wonderful things! I got some chaco shoes!"
"Staff is generally great. But the store has been a wreck for the last couple years at least. They're now making a valiant effort to organize the place and it shows. But there's still way to much inventory stuffed onto the racks, to the point that trying to take 1 shirt off the rack often means pulling 3 others with it. I wish the Knoxville goodwills did quarter day like they do in other areas."
