"I dont drive due to handicapp I have an aide only a couple hours a day to.help me and cannot wait five hours to get one for me maybe those with brand new cars should learn to live within their means and get a cheaper care so won't take up resources of those counting pennies could use"
"They seem to pick and choose who they help on the one side . Unfortunately I have had to rely on this place due to the unfortunate situation I found myself in .as for food top notch honestly. If you don't look homeless though your treated very different.. as if they don't want to help you ..but they do feed the homeless a lot of Starbucks sandwiches thx to Starbucks. And they could use more propane donations for sure . I've been told it hasn't been the same since the founder passed away"
"Very helpful they made sure I had everything I needed very resourceful not rude at all and what they said they would or could do they done Kimber her mom and all the staff were beautiful people even going through family problems and death of family members they still were effective in helping my family and I am grateful for them I would refer anyone to go they are most definitely Love n good people"
"We are blessed to have Mana Cafe’ and their ministries within Clarksville, TN. There are hungry people out there and Mana Cafe’ helps them with delicious, healthy, and hot meals. They also provide food, clothing, shower facilities, and much much more. If you need help it doesn’t hurt to ask. If you are wondering when they serve hot meals and where it is posted on their website. They sometimes serve out of their kitchen on providence boulevard and sometimes out of a food truck which they take to places where there is a need. We have all struggled at times and non profits like these help fill in the gaps for those who are hungry, cold, and need a little support. If you find yourself in trouble don’t let pride stand in your way of asking for assistance. If you find yourself in better circumstances down the road take a moment and give back to Mana’ Cafe through either volunteer work or via a monetary donation."
"I went here for the first time recently and I must say they really helped us out with the food. I've only gone to one other food pantry in my life and though I was grateful for the food, pretty much all of it was very stale tasting and there was nothing that was fresh. Still, it was good to receive food to help me out. I wasn't sure what to expect here and I was a bit intimidated by the interview process but it was actually very easy and they just asked some basic questions and provided me with a slip for food. I went around the building and two gentlemen came out and loaded up my trunk. I didn't get a chance to look at it then since I just wanted to move along. Once I got home, I was astonished at everything that was there. There were some fresh fruits and veggies, some frozen items, a big pack of chicken thighs, a pound of sliced beef, canned items, cereal, cheese, pastas, various bread items, and pastries. There was orange juice and chocolate milk, and even a pack of coca cola. Also some protein powder and Cliff bars. Also, so far none of this has been stale tasting. I did have to toss out one bag of lettuce the same day I brought it home because it was too far gone but that was one item out of many so I think that's fine. Such a variety of foods! This really helped us out so thank you to all that volunteer and donate!"
