"Car wash damaged our Corvette, still haven't heard from the company about setting up repairs. Unfortunately it's on the polycarbonate roof panel, so it can't actually be repaired. Easily the most expensive $11 car wash we've ever used. Hoping they reach out soon so we don't have to file a claim with out insurance."

"Today I went to get gas at the Shell gas station located on the corner of Wilderness Oak and Canyon golf road at 12:45 pm on 22 April 2022. When I came to the gas station, I went to pump number 3. When I inserted my card, it would not allow me to use the pump, and I received a message from the pump station that I needed to see the cashier inside. After a while, I hesitated and tried to pump again, but this time, it allowed me to use my card. I then realized that I needed to check my credit card statement while still at the gas station. When reviewing my credit card statement, I saw that it was a charge of $200. I asked my daughter at the time to go into the store to inquire for me about this $200 charge. She came back and told me that the clerk said to her that whenever she used a credit card or a debit card, there was a $200 hold on her card. I think this young lady thought I had just come out of my mother's womb, and I did not know how to use a credit card or pump gas at the gas station. So I decided to go into the gas station to inquire myself. I then proceeded to ask the same female attendant to show me this policy, where you can place a $200 hold once you use gas. She asked me kindly if I could wait off to the side so she could take care of the customer that was behind me. Then she told me that she would be right back to wait right here. She came back with another female that came out from the back office. This female informed me that my credit card company made the $200 charge and that I needed to contact my credit card company regarding the $200 charge. She then said other people have this problem with their credit card company, and I should. I have never had a hold amount on my card unless I use my card to rent a car or go to a hotel. When I contacted my bank, my bank said that $200 at that gas station called the (Fisher Shell Gas station), a gas station identifier number 43 had made this charge. So when I called them, though I was calling the person now who was in charge of this gas station, it was speaking to a female at the same gas station I was in within the store earlier. So I informed the female voice on the line that I would be contacting the headquarters for the gas station. She gave me a phone number to call, but the number she provided was not to the shell gas station. It was to a different company. The best part is that I did get refunded from them, and my bank saw the refund and that they cannot go back and recharge the $200. But I am not taking any chances I lock my card; I wanted to let individuals know this because you may want to go back and check your debit or credit card regarding charges from this gas station. There's also a $1 charge placed on the card twice on my credit card. So I'm pleading to everyone out there who visits this gas station you may want to go back and look at your accounts."
