"I ordered two trimmers online and prepaid. They handed over my items in a paper bag. When I came home and took them out of the bag, I was surprised to see that one of the boxes was already cut open from the side and there was no product inside. I immediately called the store and the lady on call said she can't do anything. I returned it in the nearby store but this was not expected from Walgreens."
"This Walgreens has told me every day that I have called that my son‘s prescription will be there tomorrow. It has been five days with him having pink eye and they still have not done it not only that I have called another pharmacy to have them transfer it and they didn’t even check the voicemail to get it transferred so it could’ve been transferred and I would’ve had it this morning but they still didn’t do it now I have to wait a whole Nother day yet. They say it will show up tomorrow, but I guarantee tomorrow when I call it won’t be there and they’ll say tomorrow again I will never go to this Walmart ever again for anything."
"Please avoid this pharmacy at all costs. I only came here bc my regular pharmacy did not have my med in stock for a few weeks and asked that I fill it elsewhere for this month only. A medication I have been taking since 2005 prescribed by the same doctor. A medication I filled at Walgreens almost exclusively, until last year when I ran into these same issues and switched to a local pharmacy. The pharmacist here, Gabriella/Gabrielle? is void of any of the basic communication skills, patient privacy, empathy and patience needed to effectively help clients. When I was informed at the counter yesterday that my medication was still not REfilled after almost a week, I asked to speak to the pharmacist. Gabriella, who was not wearing a name tag or anything indicating her position at Walgreens, then raised her head from the back of the pharmacy to the counter, and loudly said "Can I help you?" I said, "yes but I prefer not to discuss my medications with a line of people behind me, can we talk to the side?" She was visibly irritated to have to slide the metal gate up to speak to me privately at the consultation window. She coldly informed me that they were still waiting on something from my doctor's office. I told her that the doctor's office had informed me that they HAD provided the information they were looking for, then she said something about my insurance. She told me I was not allowed to bypass the insurance and pay cash for my prescription, which I verified to be untrue with another Walgreens pharmacist later on. I was astounded at her coldness and lack of empathy. She told me that they could not dispense my medication REFILL until they received even further info about my medical diagnosis and history. I told her it was very clear that she did not care that I was out of meds for several days or seem to want to help me. She told me I should go somewhere else. I then went to the store manager and complained. He was very kind and said he would follow up with the pharmacy manager. Sadly, I think she IS the pharmacy manager. I spoke with my doctors office again this morning, and again they said the would have the doctor take care of it. About 45 minutes later I received an automated text message from the pharmacy that said my prescription has again been delayed. I called the pharmacy, entered my information and was told there is no longer an order there under my name. WHAT? It's been there all week, where did it go? I waited on the line to speak to the pharmacist and got Leslie. I explained what had happened and that I have been out of meds all week waiting on them to process my prescription. She tried to blame it again on the insurance and stated there is nothing she can do, not even allow me to pay cash, and proceeded to tell me that she needs to know my diagnosis, what other meds I am prescribed in order to make sure I AM NOT ABUSING MY MEDS. I debated with her about this because I know that I am well documented in their system for nearly 20 years, the medication is the SAME, the doctor is the SAME, and they can easily verify those things with my doctor and the local pharmacy I switched to one year ago this month. She got very snotty and told me that she DOES NOT FEEL SAFE DISPENSING MY MEDS TO ME and to GO ELSEWHERE. Mind you, they had already taken my prescription OUT of their system before this phone call. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE. They think their jobs are so secure that they can treat people, who are sick and suffering, with zero respect. They are clearly there doing a job they hate in exchange for a paycheck. They did not refuse my prescription because they felt it was unsafe. They refused my prescription because I tried to advocate for myself, questioned their unethical practices, and complained to the store manager when I was treated poorly. They are 100% negligent and if you haven't had trouble there yet, you will. And they won't help you. I have escalated this matter to corporate and state authority, and I hope if you've left a review or have been treated badly at this location, that you will do the same."
"I want to thank the pharmacy staff at this location! I don't know what I would have done with out Leslie! Traveled to the area to visit grandbabies , something I can rarely do. the Airline lost my carry on they insisted I check( another story) but in it was a weeks worth of my medication! something I can not do without. Called the Shackelford store and Leslie asked if I could come in so she could be sure she had the proper prescriptions and check my ID. I went in and they were very busy, but where isn't now a days. Even though they were busy they were wonderful when it was my time. they were able to contact the Walgreens in my town and got me enough medication to get me thru my visit. I also bought a Squishmallow."
"I have to switch to CVS because this Walgreens is going down. Every time I have to get antibiotics for my kids I have to wait days. The medication will be called in at 11am and 5 hours latter they still aren’t ready. The staff is mostly standing around and nothing is getting done. I once had to travel 30 min from home to get scripts. Choose another company!!!!"
