"Well.. just on the phone call alone, I won’t go in that location. Haha The girl who answered was so obviously unenthusiastic and unfriendly. It’s basically like she said “hello, I hate my job and I absolutely hate that you’re calling and asking a question.” With out ACTUALLY saying those words. She was probably young and uneducated on work ethic and customer service skills, or IN FACT hated her job. When I said “okay, thank you so much.” She replied with “okay “ Then she hung up. Idk if it’s just North County.. or the kids now a days.. but either way, it takes a lot more work to frown, than it does to smile. People can hear the smile over the phone. Sound weird? Try it out loud."

"Just save yourself the hassle and don’t buy or give anything to this place. I brought in a whole bag of name brand clothes like Forever 21 and H and M some even with tags on them!! They didn’t want to take one item. They said “the conditions of the clothing are so bad we aren’t able to take them.” and “They just aren’t in style right now.” I haven’t even worn any of those clothes and bought them at the store within the last year. Even if they do want any of your items they want 1-2 dollars per item then proceed to sell it for 7-10 dollars. The whole place is a scam and NOT worth it! I am very dissatisfied and will NEVER be coming back. I suggest you all do the same and just find another place to sell your clothes."

"I previously went to Plato’s Closet , the location on Manchester and sold some of my “Name Brand” clothes and I was not as satisfied with my grand total. However I just went to this location located in Florissant, MO today. The atmosphere and energy that I received at this location threw me and my sister off and was instantly noticed. The lady behind the register said greetings to us when we walked in , however the manager looked at us from in front of the register and never addressed us. Very much POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. They told us to wait 35 minutes each for both of our orders, upon arrival we were shocked that they only offered me $19.71 for my items and my sister $23.00 for some very expensive name brand items. My sister observed that there were many different name brand shoes on the shelves, many like the ones we had brought in that were being sold for a WAY HIGHER price, like $55 more than what we were offered. Definitely will not be giving Plato’s Closet any more patronage, I felt very offended and not valued as a customer."
