"We drove all the way down into this park because one reviewer remarked about the stunning views of the Mississippi River. We bought dinner and took it there and there were no stunning views. You could see a partial view but hardly stunning. That being said it looks like a very nice campground."

"Some of the sites are shared sites. So you pull in the next guy will have to back in. If you know who your sharing with its not bad. Not a lot of shade in the top camp grounds. Pretty basic amenities. Night sky is beautiful.. Buggy, bring the spray, u r right by the water. The lake opens up to the Mississippi and the surrounding area is beautiful!"
