"Walked in and felt instantly overwhelmed in a bad way. None of the close are sorted by size hard to tell how the shirts are sorted out at all I don’t want to look at every single item and then HOPE if I find something nice that it’s also in my size. The radio playing behind the counter was extremely loud I could feel my stress level just rising being in there."
"Pretty big selection of items, some high, some low and some can just stay where they are on the shelf. They don't offer a discount tag but they do have discount days that correlate with the holidays. I'm old fashioned and love to read books. Their prices are very reasonable for them."
"This store has designers some with tags. Tons of items miscellaneous item, tons of Christmas items, kitchen items , electronics. The down side is of trying on clothe is this place does not have fitting rooms.. or bathrooms.. they do have good item so treasure seekers will find items at this place.. 4 stars I put on this place for no restrooms or no fitting rooms.."
"I do not intend to shop here again. The staff are very nice. However, they are extremely short staffed, and very few workers speak English, so the lines are extremely long. Tonight the only one on register spoke neither English nor Spanish. It seems inefficient and downright mean to leave this sweet, timid woman as the only person on register when she cannot communicate with customers. Management didn't open up a second register when the lines got long, either. I didn't look at clothes, so I can't comment on their organization. But everything else in the store appeared very well organized and clean, with only one, huge organizational problem. All of the marked prices are either on a colored, paper tag, or they are written with a wax pencil & use both a numeric value ("1.91"=$1.91) & a letter, telling us what color discount that item receives. "Y" for yellow, "B" for blue, etc. (See pic below.) This chain of thrift stores uses this pricing system in all of their other metroplex stores. However, in this particular store, they don't use the discount-colored tags attached to/written on all of their merchandise. Tonight, one employee assured me that the discount code for the week was blue. Another had never even heard of a colored tag discount system, in spite of every single item in the store being marked with this system. A manager (who had to be paged twice as we all stood waiting in a long line) finally confirmed that the store doesn't use a discount system, despite all evidence to the contrary. Maybe the prices are written & color-coded at a regional distribution center? That's my guess. The bottom line is that the staff needs better training and they need to keep at least one English & Spanish speaker up front. And someone needs to have mercy on that poor employee who couldn't handle a single problem, given her language struggles and timidity. (And I noticed several customers with problems, including a line jumper whom the employee was unable or unwilling to correct & send to the back of the line.) But again, the staff were nice and the merchandise organization was otherwise outstanding. The attached photo shows a paper Blue $2.42 tag, and written pricing for $6.96 White, $1.91 Yellow (was $3.43), and $1.91 White."
"I enjoyed this place and ended up spending a little over $50. They had a good selection of men's clothing with great ties (I got 6). I also bought 3 pairs of shoes for my 7 year old because the shoes were fairly new and well priced. I've gone to this place before but the first time I didn't like their selection but several years later, I had a good experience and bought stuff. I like this place to pop tags at! :) They have a digital payment system so that I was able to use my phone to pay with Samsung pay."
