"I make a lot of purchases from Free People (probably too many). There is one employee here who makes the shopping experience anxiety central. They mean mug me every time I come in. Without fail. I don’t think I’ve ever been more uncomfortable coming into a store to the point where I actively want to avoid a brand. I physically do not like shopping in this store but sometimes it’s the only way to get a feel for the fabric quality and garment construction. At this point I pretty much exclusively shop online because the in-store experience is so awful except for the fitting room people who are very thoughtful. Shout out to the kind person with pink hair who is very welcoming and to Anna who helped me last time. Note about physical FP stores: Physical locations only carry sizes XS-L. If you are looking for other sizes, you can order them in the store and they will ship to you. I have used this method to order items they also don’t have physically in stock, like makeup."
