"I would like to give a big thank you to Riley at Banfield! Riley was super helpful and very kind this morning to me. I was in a panic about my baby and she quickly realized that I needed straight, clear answers to what I could do to help my baby Bella. Riley’s voice was kind and gentle, she shared information clearly. We set a plan in motion for Bella and my day was made easier. Thank you again Riley! You are making a difference in this world!"
"I can't begin to express how grateful I am for the staff of Banfield Pet Hospital in Glen Carbon. My dog had been sick for a week, and I was working with a different veterinarian and trying everything to give him a chance to recover. Of course he took turn for the worse over the weekend. My regular vet could not see him over the weekend but it became clear he was suffering. After an online search i found Banfield was open on the weekend and did have an open appointment. When I called to explain what was going on the amazing Banfield staff told us we could bring him in right away. From the moment we walked in, they immediately took us into a room. Staff were kind and compassionate in providing end of life care. From the front desk staff to the veterinary technician to the vet, Dr. Sikes, everyone was wonderful and made this heartbreaking situation the best it could be considering the circumstances. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I highly recommend Banfield and Dr. Sikes and will be forever grateful for the compassionate care they provided in one of our worst moments."
"if there was an option for 0 stars i’d give them that. i went in because my cat was throwing up and not eating or drinking. did x-rays and vet told me to get emergency surgery that could POTENTIALLY help. when i explained i didn’t have the money to cover the cost of the surgery and asked what my other options were, she told me euthanasia. when i asked for fluids and medicine to make him comfortable they told me 3x that it wouldn’t work and he needed surgery, after again, telling them i knew he needed it but i couldn’t afford it right now. i took him home, without any help from them, did some home remedies, and after a day he started to get better. got a second opinion at a different vet and they did x-rays and told me that he most likely just had a bad tummy ache and he was fine. traumatizing experience. don’t go there for anything serious unless you want to think about putting your animal down"
"Decided to give this Banfield Clinic a try after not having a good experience on another location. I'm very pleased on how well they treat their clients and how well they cared for both of my dogs. I definitely recommend this location to every one I know that have pets. Therefore if you had a previously bad experience with another Banfield Clinic, I recommend to give this one a try, you will not be disappointed!"
"Very thorough care. Although I’ve only gone here one time, I was very pleased with my experience. I decided to switch vets, as I’ve had a not-so-great experience with my typical one. I took my Trail Mix (8 month old calico cat) to Banfield (last Saturday) thinking she just had worms. My first note is: every vet I called said it would be no less than a two day wait. When I called Banfield and said my cat was “really bad,” the nurse or doctor on the phone immediately sounded concerned and asked me to explain. She then asked if I could bring my Trail in as soon as possible. I brought her in within the hour. They contacted me less than 4 hours later to tell me after running blood tests and such, that my baby was in a lot worse condition than I had previously thought. The doctor recommended further action, which I took, and in turn my Trail Mix has been showing nothing but signs of improvement. I am so grateful I took her to Banfield and they discovered this, I feel if I took her to my old vet, they wouldn’t have cared enough to look further. I cherish every extra moment I have with my Trail baby and I thank the staff at Banfield for their part in saving her."
