"Charge nurse at the infusion center made my mother reschedule her xgiva infusion because she scheduled her appt for 2:30 without our knowledge. All her appointments are at 3pm on wednesdays as I can get off work early at 2:30 on those days. We get there a little before 3 and have been doing so for all of her past shot appointments. Charge nurse was very rigid in the fact that we missed our 30 min. grace period and that no exception could be made even though we were unaware the appt had been made for 2:30. Its difficult for my mom to get around. She uses a walker. I feel making her go to the infusion center twice in one week was uncalled for. I don't feel their concern for their patient should be less important than making an accommodation 1 time."
