Emergency Room (ER) at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Pflugerville 2600 East Pflugerville Parkway, Pflugerville, TX 78660

"We were visiting family in Austin when my husband had a stroke. Ambulance chose to take him here. CT Scan did not show stroke so they sent us home even though his speech was terrible and was unable to even stand on his own. They took him by wheelchair to our car. When we returned to our family home he threw up for several hours and was still unable to walk or speak clearly. Later I looked at CT results on their app and it clearly reads “Please note CT may be negative in the first 24 to 48 hours following infarction and follow-up MRI with diffusion imaging may still be indicated.” You would think that garbled speech, drooling and left side paralysis would have been enough reason to keep him and/or treat him. He is currently being treated for stroke. UPDATE: My husband died one month to the day later. Had he received proper care would my husband still be with me?"

"Went to the ER with my wife and daughter since we were all sick. Saw us all quickly and efficiently and were super helpful and gracious with our daughter who was very fussy at the time. Nurses and doctors were all excellent. I had to stay a couple nights and was moved upstairs where the nurses and doctors were also exemplary. The ER and hospital rooms were all very clean and spacious and comfortable. And the food while I was in the hospital for a few days was very good. Thanks to everyone at BSW for the excellent care experience!"

From the moment I entered the facility, the staff were kind, respectful, and attentive. The nurse actually listened to me about where to start my IV, I am a hard stick and have had many nurses blow my veins because "they were experts." Doctor Tobleman was AMAZING! He simply was everything you could ask for in a Doctor. He was kind, caring, empathic, and engaged in active listening.
