"I was not impressed with this research clinic. I accompanied someone for an in-person screening. First of all, there was no ADA accommodation for a mobility limited person (had to climb stairs to access the facility). Secondly, the pre-screening telephone call did not inform the prospective participant that there needed to have 25% of the body affected, to be accepted into the study of interest. Thirdly, the consent form stated that if the individual was not accepted into that particular study, they would be compensated for their travel, and that they could search for other study opportunities. However, the staff member denied that that was a true statement. Even though he was informed that the person traveled over one hour. He added that "the sponsor" may not want to pay unless "some procedure " was performed. FACT CHECK - I am familiar with clinical studies (I managed the military's renowned clinical research facility at Fort Detrick, MD; participated in recruiting research candidates), and I know for a fact that the statement is untrue. I won't recommend/refer anyone to this facility!"

"I participated in a research study every early morning for a month. It was tough, but that's only because I'm not a morning person. These folks made it super easy; they were friendly, they were informative and forthright, they were helpful when I asked questions about my skin, and they paid me like they promised at the end. Very cool experience. To be honest, because of them, I could put a nice down payment on my Lasik surgery. I literally see clearer because of them. Super grateful!"

"I'm in a 9 month study for Toenail Fungus, so far all is great. Docs, techs and staff are all great! Place is clean, accommodating and a pleasure to visit, hoping the treatment works! Well it turns out I'm in a 14 month study, I'm not going there... Study didn't work to alleviate the to jam, it's research. You will need to stay on top of them about your compensation payouts, other than that it's been great."
