"At Red River you are two things: 1. An endless source of statistical information to be reported to the city, county and state levels for tracking and funding. Sneeze? Let's run some tests. Sunburn? Tests. Time for your "normal" tests? Let's add some new tests. Regardless of whether or not you will find out by the normal course things run in 2 days, let's get some lab work done so that we will know for sure in 2 days. 2. A tokenized representation of a continuous known and lucrative source of guaranteed revenue for the office, the pharmacy of your choice and a pharmaceutical company. Your very life is no longer your own and your continued existence is now held hostage. You will comply, or you will die. If you are new to the game, do yourself a favor: go to one of the only other 2-3 enterprises in town that at least won't make you come and spend half a day in the office and pay for the luxury of parking. Telemed is the only medical breakthrough you will experience in your new less than life, so you might as well select the option that requires the least amount of sitting around and waiting. After all, you need to get back to work if you want to be able to afford health insurance...or else. As one positive, they at least do not engage in the gross corpo-speech of the other places. No one will be droning on about your personal care team or the like."
"I love Red River Family Practice! I've been going to Dr. Hutto for years and he is a real gem--I always leave feeling heard and supported. Just very down to earth care from the team there, I really appreciate it."
"Left voicemail. Received call back two days later. As the poor reviews say, you have to fill out the paperwork before they will schedule an appointment. They email you the PDFs for you to fax back. I’ve never had a clinic do things this way, and I’ve been to many different clinics. After reading the poor office scheduling reviews, I’m not going here."
"I called to make an appointment as a new patient and got one on the calendar I was sent new patient paperwork. On the paperwork sent to me, it stated that the appointment couldn't be booked until the paperwork was submitted. I moved and it took me a few weeks to get the paperwork back to them. The day before the appointment I received no call, text, or any way of knowing that the appointment booked was still valid. But then I got a call that I missed the appointment. News to me. The appointment wasn't confirmed, and I got zero notification that it was still on their calendar. Turns out their office policy is to not book with patients who miss their first appointment. This was after I called them four times and didn't receive one call back. Hands down the most incompetent medical office I have ever dealt with."
