WellMed at Redbird Square

"I have been going to wellmed before it changed to wellmed, and was Carenow in Red Oak. We enjoyed the drs and professionalism. They moved to Desoto area, and company name changed. That's when everything started going down hill. The office off of Wheatland Rd. was very ghetto, and unprofessional. We continued to go cause we liked the nurse practioner we were seeing. If you were 5 minutes late, they would not see you. This upset me cause I was traveling after work in traffic from Red Oak. Then they changed drs and we no longer seen or heard from the NP again. The office moved again to Red Bird Square. The office staff is very professional in person, but if you try to call, you have long wait times, then when someone answers they hang up on you. I have to play phone tag alot between our pharmacy and dr office trying to get refills filled. Getting referrals for drs was even worse. I enjoyed having a african american female dr, which is the reason I stayed as long as I did. But so far, I have only seen her in person once. I usually see a NP, when going into the office, and sometimes for over the phone visits. So after dealing with this office and the stress of trying to request different things, I am very unhappy, and will be looking for a different doctor. The list is longer, but I don't have time or space to mention everything. I do not recommend this facility for various of reasons."

"Dr Bruce Kinney is a great doctor. He is really attentive to my MIL, who is 80 years young and has dementia. He is not in a hurry,pushing pills and trying to get you out of the door. He takes his tell to talk and to listen to your issues and concerns. Not like another doctor in this same office......no names."

"I enjoy Constance’s Line Dance!!! Most facilities to sign up for the class you have to get there at least 30 minutes before the class. People that live in the neighborhood come when the place opens up and sign in, then they leave. I live in Grand Prairie (make no sense for me to have to drive to Dallas twice for class) and have driven to Dallas for the classes that were filled up when the place had opened . I usually get there an hour before the class starts… I had to be on a waiting list each and every time; this has occurred at least 4 times. I am going to speak with someone regarding this matter. With the price of gas Continuing to go up this is not fair."

"Excellent Provider Group, they literally saved my life!!! I was treated with the upmost respect and care. Monica listens and genuinely cares. I don't know if I could gotten through this past year without her and the rest of the staff. If you need a primary provider please don't hesitate and go to this team. I also had a chance to speak with Dr. Perry and Monica, what a pro duo. Judith works with Monica and she is so caring and always get back to your immediately. It's a win/win for me!"
