"Do not bother with this Gynecologist.. not professional at all...Instead of reaching out to her patient..me..inregards to a Biopsy results.. questions I had for her..She had her nurse call me instead inspite that I specifically asked to speak to Dr. Jessica Bender herself.. I wasnt able to do that..I give this gynecologist..Dr. Jessica Bender.. and her office 1 star.. For starters.. because my annual deductible and Out-of-pocket are paid by me in full..My insurance company is paying all of my medical bills at 100% til the new year in January. My insurance company won't pay any claims..such as visit I had for a papsmear.. that says in the description code as Preventive Medicine or Routine Visits as put by Dr. Bender.. MDs can correct claims and resend them to insurance company like many of my mds have done .. Dr.. Bender would not.. BCBS wants MD to change the description code for visit so it doesnt say preventive or Routine visits ..My plan doesnt pay for that.. which ALL of my MDs have been making sure that they dont code a claim that way... So my insurance will pay them and Dr. Bender fully instead of me..I explained this to Dr. Bender. She said she won't do that.. it's "cheating. " according to her inaccurate way of thinking. It is not cheating. She would be paid 100% full payment by my insurance company ...but she does not want to do what BCBS IL asked her to do so they can pay her fully. Dr. Bender wants me to pay her a couple hundred dollars out of my pocket instead of BCBSIL. She is not a good MD for this reason alone. I refuse to pay her a couple hundred dollars that BCBS 100% would pay her.. Another bad thing she does.. she does not like answering questions directly when requested by me the patient.. I had asked questions for her about my Biopsy...She had her nurses call me instead..inwhich it was alot of phone tag with them.. I left a final voice message expressing myself to the nurse as to why they can't send me a message thru Mychart..I don't want to play phone tag.. I prefer speaking to the MD Bender not the nurse.. I find this behavior highly disrespectful towards me as a patient that wants to speak directly to this md about my results and not her nurse. She will not get paid a dollar for visit of the Papsmear she refused to resubmit a corrected claim to BCBS.. I asked her to correct the claim for BCBS so THEY could pay her fully not me. I will not go back to her either.. i want an MD that will contact me back directly per my request NOT the nurse. Bad communication..lack of respect towards her patients."
