Hyatt Regency Dallas

"Could definitely get a better service for this price. Considering that it says 4.5 stars hotel and worldwide recognition, this particular Hyatt was very disappointing. Water and some other refreshments were not complimentary and not even offered for a purchase. The mini bar was completely empty (made me wonder why was there a mini fridge in the first place). Slippers, even a pen and a notebook, cotton pads, tooth paste, cotton buds etc were all missing. Felt like a 2 star budget hotel. The choice of the toiletries and hair drier brands is totally inadequate for a hotel at such a price, location and history. The only benefit is location."

"I want to give this a five star rating because the rooms were beautiful. It was a nice clean also very spacious. The view was okay only cause we got the view of the freeway maybe the other side is nicer. Service wasn’t the greatest experience when checking in the hospitality wasn’t there for it being the kind of hotel that it is. Also when I ask where to park I was told I can go in the garage but turn to find out it’s only for valet parking which is a whole other fee from the $30.00 that is already automatically charged to your room. So we had to park across the street in some open parking lot area, yes it was gated but still gave that vibe that didn’t seem as safe. Also if you check out before getting your vehicle you won’t be able to get out cause you need your key card to get out which is something what wasn’t told to us. Overall the rooms were nice and comfortable but the service could have been a lot better and also better informed about the hotel. Due to the location I thought it would have been a lot better. But for that price you are paying here you can find a better hotel in that area with better service."

"Best hotel to stay in Dallas for work. I love the rooms (large! Clean! Quiet!) and I LOVE the gym. Front desk staff are super nice, and it’s easy walking distance to a lot of restaurants downtown. I have Hyatt status so they gave me a room with a nice view on a high floor so that was great as well. The restaurants are surprisingly not expensive, so it made for some really convenient dinners after an exhausting day at work. I’ll definitely be staying here from now on!"

"If you want to come here for the room and the views, it’s top notch. We got a room on the 22 floor and it was spectacular. Really clean, updated, modern, and you really can’t beat the view of Dallas at night. However, we opted out of getting a valet, after that the valets and parking director people were not interested at all in being of any aid and when speaking to us had almost tone deaf nonchalant I-couldn’t-care-less-about-you attitudes. It was our anniversary and we chose to go somewhere nicer for one night, but honestly wouldn’t do it again because of that. We were also interrupted twice in the morning by people checking if our room was empty, way before 11 am which was the checkout time. If the view and cool room is all you need, then definitely stop by here. Gorgeous place, and lots of places to eat. However, the centennial restaurant on the 2nd floor was…not good at all. I won’t elaborate. For views and the room 5/5 Overall 3.8/5"

"I live in Denton & just came for the day for an event. The valet service was very courteous & quick. I was able to eat a light breakfast that I brought at a cafe space inside the hotel lobby. Everything was very clean, bright & airy. The event included a very good box lunch too. All the staff was very friendly. There was a line at the valet desk at the end of the day but it moved very fast. Well done Hyatt Regency!!"
