"We booked our flight online and chose a Sunday morning sunrise flight. The Saturday night before, we received confirmation via text that the weather looked good for our trip. Watching the balloon fill and rise was very cool. My Husband has a bad leg and they were very patient and helpful getting him in and out of the basket. The views were gorgeous, conversation fun, and we even saw a live zebra at a local farm as they transported us back to our cars. A wonderful experience!"

"I have flown with Andy and Galena on the Fly more a couple of times and it is amazing! Once we even saw a bald eagle flying near. His team is professional - giving instructions as needed and helping passengers on and off. Andy provides commentary about the sites that you are able to see from the balloon. It’s very quiet when you are so high, and the Galena landscape is beautiful from above. Champagne and chocolates upon landing! Highly recommend taking a balloon ride with Andy and Galena on the Fly!"

"Flight on 10/23/2018. Absolutely beautiful! As a local to the Galena area (and an adrenaline junkie) I have always wanted to go on a hot air balloon ride. The entire process was super chill and went so smooth. We had a beautiful fall day with very low wind. The GOTF crew has the process down to a science and I truthfully felt so safe. Granted I love heights, but when you are thousands of feet in the air in a balloon it's natural to feel a little uncertain. I didn't at all! Not only has Andy been doing this his entire life, but his calm demeanor and funny personality adds another layer of security. Before taking off Andy explains the process of inflating the balloon and each step that goes into take off (along with the safety instructions). He makes sure his guests feel comfortable with each step (because it obviously is scary for some people). As a local I thought I would be able to pick out landmarks, but I realized how quickly I got turned around. Andy does a great job at pointing out landmarks, telling stories, and giving his passengers a sense of direction. Not once did I feel nervous or scared. We landed in a field about 5 miles away, crew came and picked us up and we went back to the resort. It was an awesome experience and I 100% recommend it to any of my family and friends!!!"
