"This restaurant recently changed ownership to Kevin. I've been to Brazen and Birds Food Truck, located in Dubuque, Iowa, that is also owned by him. We have been wanting to venture over to Galena to try Otto's Place for awhile. It did not disappoint! The food was scrumptious. I enjoyed the plants and our waiter was very attentive. I wish there were more fancy coffee drinks, but that's no big deal. We will definitely come back again! Definitely try the cinnamon roll. I would suggest splitting it - it is huge! We had reservations at 8:15 on a Sunday. It was good."

"Spectacular breakfast next to the railroad with great views of downtown in a cozy atmosphere. Menu is fantastic and everything is prepared superbly. Our table shared a giant hot cinnamon roll and the special lemon pop tarts. Both were phenomenal and gigantic. Definitely good items to split with a few others. Their huevos rancheros were out of the park and the Cuban sandwich had the best bread and butter pickles. Left with tons of leftovers and couldn’t stop talking about the food. Can’t wait to come back! Definitely make a reservation ahead if you can as this place fills up quick!"

"What a great find. This quaint and cozy brunch spot has delicious breakfast options. I had the sweet potato hash and my husband had the veggie omelette and a Cinnamon roll. We shared a side of bacon. Can't say enough great things about how fresh and flavorful the food was. Delicious!!"

"My husband and I went to Galena and we always try to find little restaurants that are not chain restaurants and eat there. When we got there we found out there was a 45 minute wait which was no big deal. So we went and sat in the car and waited for them to call us. We went back after 45 minutes and luckily our table had just became available. We got seated right away and had water brought to us within just a few minutes of being sat. We looked at the menu and our waiter came over and explained about the daily menu for the specials. His name was Dylan and he provided the best service. Then he came back to the table into our order. We made a change while we were waiting for our food and he gladly did it without and he hesitation or attitude. When he brought our food he brought us our meal that we were sharing and an additional plate without us having to ask for it because he knew we were going to be sharing it and he brought us our cinnamon rolls into go containers. This is a very cute little restaurant by the Galena visitor center. I would highly recommend visiting there if you go, but I would make a reservation which is allowed."

"Eat here if you’re visiting Galena! My wife, in-laws, and I came two years in a row. Everything is great; the food, the prices, and the friendly staff. I’d especially recommend the country hash (it’s big enough to split) and cinnamon roll. We were worried when we heard the place switched owners, but it’s still a top-tier restaurant. I’d recommend making a reservation."
