Larabee Plumbing Service 3903 Fulton Street, Houston, TX 77009

"We hired someone from Larabee to replace the shower head and do some plumbing work in the hallway bathroom in Sept 2022. They offered their annual service for $199, and we said we would like to sign up as we had a few other projects here and there. I purchased the shower hardware separately, and so the only materials provided were a bit of pipe, some tape, and a few other in expensive item for the connection. It did take him a few tries to fix the issue and it as the plumbing in the wall needed some additional work. The plumber charged my through Venmo (which I worried about at the time but he would give me a discount if i paid that way). He charged me around $600 for the shower head installation (which I assumed $199 was for the annual service fee, and the rest was for the hours plus the discount) and another $150 to fix a leak under my sink in a different area of the house - which he did a different day (and did not charge a service fee). However, just 6 months later, we noticed some water after the shower was being used, and realized there are several connections leaking in wall. When we called back to have them come out to fix it, the dispatcher told me that we never purchased the annual service and it would be another $100 to come out and look at the leak! I asked if they guaranteed their work and the dispatch service repeated that it would cost another $100 to come look at the leak - So I guess no their work is not guaranteed, not even for a year. Take you money somewhere else. They are not guaranteeing their work, doing bad work, and sending unprofessional people to the job that are taking money for themselves and not logging what they are saying. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with this company and their workers."
