"I used to be a patient here years ago, but when my insurance changed, the group was out of network. Over the years, i’ve had to establish new providers. It was increasingly difficult to get face-to-face time w/ the overseeing MD/DO at new patient evals, & subsequently they’d try to change a regimen that has worked well for me over a decade. Most recently, i was told i needed EKGs just to get a long-time medication refilled. Frustrated, i called Dr. Cathal Grant to get my records; and to my delight, they are now in network as of Dec 2023. I made an appt the same day, and within an hour I’d met with Dr. Grant face-to-face, and my medicine was restored without issue. The NP i saw for years is still there, and luckily i was placed with her again for my checkups. Soledad at the front desk is so pleasant and friendly, and in my experience, routine follow-ups ensured my medicines are refilled on time. I appreciate Dr. Grant’s personable approach, that his staff listens well, and the ease by which i can get back to life and on my way."
"They would be great and I would feel helped if they would ever actually call in prescription. I have to call every single time I need a refill and often more than once because if they don't send the Rx when I call (which they often don't) the pharmacy is out and I have to find a different pharmacy with it in stock. Had to go over a week on several occasions without meds d/t their lack of follow through. Very frustrating. If I could find a different provider I would."
"I have experienced something today I have NEVER, in the almost the 10 years of being a patient, EVER experienced. I have been trying to RETURN A CALL from an office staff member , and have put on hold on & off, for ONE HOUR. Are they just not taking my call? This has NEVER happened in the past. I honestly, am sitting here angry and in complete disbelief!! If Dr. Grant were actually aware of what is and has been going on, he would flip his lid! Never would he allow such a situation. It is his hard earned medical practice. Front office, please pick up your calls!!!"
"I left 1 star for dr grant being one of the most warm hearted caring doctors I’ve ever met and the other is for his great work. The other 3 would be for the staff who answer the phones like they are minutes away from going ballistic on me when I call asking for my meds that I’ve been out of for a week. I’m told to go to the new patient portal that doesn’t have an app and she doesn’t know the name of the website. I’ve been passed around to 5 nurse practitioners in 2 years. Best part is, they never tell me why! Surprise! I have a new dr who knows nothing about me but she read the notes 5 minutes before calling so she should totally know how to care for my needs. I’m very disappointed in the way this office is starting to operate. I use to brag about the Grant Group. Now, every month I dread the week long withdrawals I’ll get to deal with cause some new PA didn’t call in my meds. Happy freaking new years to me! they are closed Friday’s, they close mid day, they call your meds in at 4:30 every day (my pharmacy closes at 5 and they are closed on weekends so I’ve been violently ill for almost a week and never received a call back on the emergency line. It’s gonna be a great 2024) I’d rather suffer through depression and anxiety than deal with these withdrawals! Someone please fix this problem before something bad happens to someone and y’all end up with a lawsuit on your hands."
"I’ve been going to this office since 2009, and the past few months have been absolutely reprehensible. I have been passed around from nurse to doctor to nurse, I have to call in monthly for my medication refills to be told “we are getting to it”. Does it take 5-10 days to “get to” a medication refill request? It does at the Grant Group. This has resulted in me going without medication sometimes for 2 weeks. With being passed around doctor to doctor, they have also gotten my prescription dosages incorrect, which I correct, then it goes right back to the same incorrect prescription dosage. Grant group, y’all were great for 13 years… figure it out and do better. Our mental health is on the line here. The front desk woman has been rude and when I mentioned it is my mental health we are dealing with, she complained about long hours and how their mental health in the office is declining. Very unprofessional in my opinion."
