Dog City

"We have been taking out dogs to Dog City since 2022. Mr. Phil and Bandit, when he was still with us, love Tiffany and trusted her to take care of all of their grooming needs, including the toes."

"DOODLE OWNERS- this is not a grooming first establishment. The groomer HAD to have been overbooked or something bc i brought my dog in at 9:30 and she wasn’t done until after 3. I ended up missing an event at work because I thought surely they would not still be working on her by 2. When i called to check in, I was told the groomer was working on another dog and that my dog was just sitting drying. if she is shaved bald idk how it took 6 hours to do. Also if I knew they were just going to shave her bald I would have just done it myself at home. Her matting when i brought her in was very minimal. We pointed out maybe two matts during the exam and I gave the groomer permission to spot shave them. She has never had hair this short in the three years I’ve had her. I’m trying to be understanding because I know it’s a lot of work, but her chest is super uneven now as you can see in the photo. It’s completely shaved down in the front but around it there’s patches of really long hair that were missed. I’m also annoyed because I almost didn’t take her to the bathroom afterwards because they said she had already gone, but the second I took her out she immediately went poop and pre so there’s no way they actually took her out. I just moved to Dallas but I will drive all the way back to Fort Worth for my grooming from now on."

"I brought my dog here for the second time today. The first visit was a positive experience; however, this time, it was different. When I picked up my dog, everything seemed normal during the check-out process, and they mentioned she had done well. Later, I noticed a significant portion of her skin had been removed, as depicted in the attached picture. No one informed me of this incident or provided an explanation. This lack of communication is unacceptable. While I understand accidents can occur, this was a substantial incident, and the groomer should have been aware, given the evident bleeding. I won't be returning to this place with my dog."

"Took my 2 Brussels Griffons here for the first time. I can be a bit of a nervous mama but this place made me feel so much more at ease. The groomer (Heather) came out to meet me before my appointment and go over everything. I talked over what I usually do with the dogs and she walked me through what she thought they might need as well. It was a great experience to talk about them together because it really felt like collaboration. What really set me at ease was this: She told me if I went home, inspected them, and find something not to my linking to call her and she would get it worked out. I found this incredibly reassuring, especially during a first groom where she is still learning my preferences. She seemed to really understand that we both just want best for the dogs. When I went to pick them up, they look so adorable and again the groomer (Heather) came out to talk to me about everything they had went through how their behaviors were. As a dog mom I appreciate it so much, when I know what my dogs are doing and what they’ve been through. She went through everything with me- down to how she was holding their heads during the groom. It felt as though my dogs comfort was her priority, and Im truly appreciative of that. I think they worked very hard on having a great relationship between the dogs and the groomers, as well as the human parents and the groomers too. I felt like I understood everything that was going on. Full transparency seems like a model here and I'm very thankful for that. I will definitely be bringing mine back a I suggest you take a leap of faith and try them out too! Also wanted to mention: The facilities were super clean. They have lots of windows so you can look in on the daycare and the rest of the facility. Every dog I saw walking out looked very happy and content. Not stressed at all, which is what we all want for our pups."

"This is a great place with great, friendly staff. Heather, the groomer, is AWESOME. We've moved here recently and have been trying to find a groomer who will match Duke's prior cut. She followed a picture precisely and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the grooming (pics attached with their cute bandana). She is very kind with the dogs, and you can tell they love her. We are very happy with the effort, warmth, and atmosphere of this place which makes it a little easier to leave our precious pup for grooming. 5 stars!!"
