"Great experience from start to finish. I had discovered an amazing recliner chair in Europe. Took photos of the labels and was delighted to learn that Walter E. Smithe sells it. I placed my order, and it became available even a bit before the expected time. The cherry on the cake was the employee at the Itasca warehouse, Dock 3, who processed me through quickly and very professionally. This young man is either a natural professional, or a manager is doing some fine training, or perhaps some of both. I chose Walter E. Smithe because of all the advertising they do on WBEZ. I'm glad I did."

"We just got probably the most comfortable piece of furniture I've ever owned delivered today. We walked in to this location a few months ago and had Oscar help us pick out a sectional for our space and had a phenomenal experience. He was very helpful and patient and everyone at this location was extremely communicative throughout the process. I suppose the one "negative" aspect was that it took a while from ordering to delivery date but that is to be expected with anything custom made. As for the price, while they do have a lot of high end options we were able to find a sectional that met our needs for just under 2k, which is better pricing than we were able to find anywhere else in the neighborhood. I was equally impressed with the staff that came out to deliver the couch, they were extremely quick and professional."

"Good selection of furnitures, lighting and other home decor ideas. They do temperature checks and you have to wear a mask indoors. They also want you to stick with your designer at all times and within range of your buddy (whoever is visiting with you)... (Somehow you re not comfortable looking around by yourself) .. found some good ideas and will have to look online for more.. parking is in the back... They have branches in other cities too...
