"It took 1 hr for a doctor to come and the apt lasted 5 minutes barely did anything. then, to get out of the parking lot it took 50 minutes to get out because the line was 5 floors up. they do not care about anything but money don’t come here."

"Our child started running a high fever while we were visiting family in Chicago, and a friend recommended this place. We called in advance and were told we didn’t need an appointment and that they close at 6pm. We arrived at 5pm, after driving with a sick kid for an hour, only to be told we couldn’t be seen because we didn’t have an appointment. Staff were unsympathetic. Heading to PM pediatric urgent care in Glenview."

"PARENTS PLEASE NOTE: Try to get an appointment before you come here as you will get bumped behind those with them. Wait time can be 2-3 hours if you arrive after 5pm, so get there at 4 when it opens if you can. Otherwise, be prepared for a long wait (longer during flu season, during school and other known outbreaks). Bring snacks, books, activities and a tablet for watching (there’s wifi). Also, there’s a good chance you’ll get turned away if you come after 9, as the patient queue may be full in which they won’t accept anymore patients. This has been my experience twice after calling them (thankfully I did not show up being told this). Lurie’s needs to SORELY address these issues and communicate them better BEFORE parents bring their children here. They forget how difficult it is for parents (especially single parents) to drag their kids out at night and wait 2-3 hours before they are seen by a doctor. Otherwise, the doctors and nurses are great. My son is a child of color and they have treated him respectfully every time and perform good a diagnosis. The front desk could have better customer service skills, as they are usually rather blunt and sometimes cold. This is not a great way to welcome wary parents and their kids."
