"Yolanda is awesome! I have never had acupuncture before so I was a little timid about visiting. I had gone in with a locked up lower back, an issue I’ve dealt with on/off for about a decade. When we met, she was very warm, welcoming, and patient to listen to all of your ailments and concerns. For many health services many times you feel placed thru a spinning door, in-and-out. Her practice, on the other hand, feels very personal and genuine. I was open to the thought that the procedure wouldn’t work but after just 1-2 treatments, my chronic lower back tightness seemed to almost vanish. Even after countless yoga and massages, I have never had a procedure so effective - 3mo later and I’m still walkin’ like a spring chicken! She accepts insurance too, so you got nothing to lose! "Highly recommend Dr. Yolanda Seliga's services. Dr. Seliga's compassion, honesty and understanding makes me feel comfortable and confident that I've chosen my practitioner well. She is an excellent communicator. She tailors her coversation to her audience. I am terrified of needles. I've tried acupuncture before but had to end sessions because my terror of needles. I had my first appointment recently. I am terrified of needles and sales pitchs. To my relief, I got neither. Dr. Seliga said we can work up to acupuncture. I've been told by acupuncturists in the past that I'd get over the needles. Dr. Yolanda did not say anything remotely that felt like shaming me because of my fear. She didn't try to up sell me on any of the other services she offers. I felt she actively listened to my concerns and came to a treatment plan I am comfortable with. We spoke about issues other than my primary complaint. My first treatment was a hybrid of gua sha and cupping. She explained what she was doing, why and continually confirmed if I was okay to proceed. She didn't try to pursuade me to buy a $6000 treatment package with herbs that are contraindicated to my current medical conditions. As a result, I'm excited to work my way up to a full acupuncture treatments and buy multiple visit treatments packages."
