"Best Banfield I've been to. We are new to the area, so they took the time to explain where emergency vets were located in case we ever needed after hours help. Everyone was cheerful and friendly. Dropped my cat off for a comprehensive and bloodwork, thinking it would take all day, or at least all morning, but got a call he was ready for pickup less than 2 hours later. They thoroughly explained all the details of the appointment and answered all my questions. Definitely recommend this Banfield specifically!"
"I can't thank everyone enough for how kind and above compationate they were for Tanners end of life. Thank You!"
"By far the WORST experience I’ve had at any Banfield location. I gave them the benefit of the doubt despite the negative reviews but I shouldn’t have. Our dog had an appointment for her comprehensive exam at 8:15 am and that was the time we dropped her off. Three hours passed and we still weren’t given an update so we went to go check on her since no Banfield has ever kept our dog that long for a comprehensive exam. We asked if our dog was okay and how much longer it would take. The lady at the front desk said that she couldn’t give us a time estimate for how much longer but that “probably 3:00” and wouldn’t directly answer the question of wether my dog was alright or not and she seemed unsure if everything she was saying. We left and gave them a chance until 3:30 pm (that’s already 7.5 hours since her appointment time). Since the vet didn’t even come out to speak with us, we had to inform her that her previous vet had suggested to split all four vaccines into two sessions because our dogs body is too small for all of them at once. If I didn’t tell them, I don’t think they would’ve even considered that. When I didn’t hear from them by 3:30, I called and once again asked if my dog was okay. The same lady answered and said that they were backed up on surgeries and that my dog still hadn’t been seen and when I asked again how much longer it would be she decided to ask me if I was the owner. After she had already spoken to me twice. And she still didn’t confirm wether my dog was okay or not. I called back to tell them to just cancel the appointment because I had somewhere to be and I was immediately placed on hold for 15 minutes which was the amount of time it took me to drive to this location to pick up my dog. When I walk in, the lady who put me on hold was sitting on her desk looking inside her desk drawer and didn’t know what to tell me when I told her I was the one she had left on hold for 15 minutes. Not even a sorry or a reason why. When we told them we were here to pick up my dog, they suddenly had already put all her shots and had her visit summary. They said that they had gotten to her immediately after my last call but I guess the front desk lady couldn’t be bothered to give me that update and decided to leave me on hold. The nurse who came out to talk to us was at least apologetic about the whole situation but it didn’t take away from how upsetting it was. Once I got home I noticed my dogs leg was getting swollen as a result of them putting the bandage on too tight. I immediately took it off and realize her fur had dried blood all over like they didn’t even bother to clean it after her shots. Not to mention, Dr. Nichols himself didn’t come out to speak to us at all to see if we had any questions or concerns. No Banfield has ever kept my dog for 8 hours, it’s always been three at most and they’re always updating me unlike this location. Plus what’s the point of making an appointment that early if you’re not even going to honor it. They don’t care that your dog probably will be needing to pee or if they’ll be hungry. They’ll just let them wait in there all day."
"We took our baby there for a regular teeth cleaning, of course anesthesia included. They left the needle catheter in and stated there may have been a miscommunication and we can bring him in again so they can look at it, The whole needle was in his arm, bandaged like he was done. This negligence has turned us off of bringing our babies here again for big things like this. I understand you get busy but sending a puppy home with a whole needle in his arm has got to be on the basic list of things you don’t do."
"We have been taking our dogs to Banfield for years, we use the Banfield Optimum Wellness plan. We trust them completely with our fur babies. Their staff is knowledgeable and flexible. They really work with you to determine the best care for your pets."
