Red Roof Inn Dallas - DFW Airport North

"Needed a quick stay over for an early AM flight. The room was clean. I wish hotels did not use perfume smelling sprays. The mattress was too soft for me. The shuttle was quick in the AM. The one FROM the airport took over half an hour to get to pick up at the airport. The hotel is next to Denny's and a well stocked convince store."

"I recently got hired for a job around this area 2 hours away from home. I stayed here once every week for 3 months and have no real complaints about it. I had a clean room with no bug problems on every visit. Each day after work, I came back with my bed made and towels replaced. Check in was quick and easy every time. Restaurant prices are more expensive since it's near an airport. Despite that, I got my fill from Denny's next door which is nice that I can walk there without driving or Door Dashing. It feels like the rooms are made for business trips with the included dresser, a rack to hang jackets, and an ironing board. They even include soap and shampoo, so you won't go to work unclean if you forget those at home."

"Very quite to be by the airport. No one is beating on your door before checkout time. Very clean, although they need to learn to mop the floors between guests. Towels were new and soft. Very nice and the grounds are kept up well. Pet friendly, and the owner even gave me a jump when my truck wouldn't start the next day. Very nice fellow. . The lady behind the desk must have had a bad day, but everyone else was welcoming. Nice change for a red roof. Would definitely recommend."

"Please read before booking! Upon entering, a family was unhappy and requesting a refund. That should've been the first red flag, but I thought nothing of it at first. Before getting our room, we asked for a non smoking bedroom which was confirmed on the phone and at the front desk. We got our room card and walked down the sketchiest hallway, concerned that my life and my wife's life could be harmed at any point in time. After making it to our room, we stepped into what smelled like a hookah party room, the smell of cigarette smoke was so fresh and so fowl that within five minutes my head started to hurt from the nicotine high that was coming off of the walls, floors, ceilings, and furniture. The smell was so robust you could literally smell it from outside. Not only was the cigarettes an issue when it comes to cleanliness, but the sheets were dirty on one bed with a very noticeable brown and gray stain, no means with trying to hide it would have been successful. There were roaches in the electronics, the bathroom looked like it was recorded just before we got there with a notice of 45 minutes and six screws and a screwdriver, the toilet seat was hanging on by dental floss metaphorically, and the AC seemed to be screaming like the sun from Rick and Morty. But the nail in the coffin was that the clerk at the front desk had given another family the same code and same room that we were staying in and they showed up around 3:25 am, I had to run to the door and lock and close it and inform them they had the wrong room. Upon checkout, the clerk acknowledged this and said he did send that family to our room, never apologized and brushed it aside with no recompense of any kind, I later called the manager of this place and told them I'd like a refund due to being intruded and not being given what we purchased, they said no to this and told us to carry it out with our bank which we did, later to find our they charged us twice so I called the manager of the hotel again and said they would give us a refund. That was more than a week ago. If you're at all interested in risking your life, this is a great place to stay. I don't complain often and typically will take the loss, but this was beyond acceptable."
