Days Inn by Wyndham Dallas Irving

"Upon arrival I was not greeted, when someone did finally come around they asked "what do you need" I responded that i had made a reservation through expedia and I was checking in. He says "oh ok, so you need 1 room?" I said yes I booked one room double beds. He asks have I paid and I said yes I have, I can give you the reservation number if that makes it easier. He said no and then proceeds to ask me how many rooms how many beds, smoking or non smoking. I answered all of them but... I already made a reservation, why are we treating this like a whole new reservation instead of just "checking me in" for the reservation I already booked? Anyways fast forward to evening time. I go and try to bathe my daughter and the little piece that you pull up on the faucet to get the shower on is so corroded that I can't pull it up at all No biggie I'll call down for help. Well the phone doesn't work.. I use my cell- no answer. Finally walk down there to ask for help. Im told maintenance will come. I waited from around 630pm to 1030pm when I told my kiddo she'd just need to go to sleep dirty. I tried to use the tub but the water wasn't getting warm either. Upon getting into my bed I found RAT DROPPINGS!!! We requested to change rooms but were denied... I don't remeber them giving a reason... At night there was people drinking and hanging around in the parking lots, loud bass music until around 2am. Now I'm younger and get its a Saturday night so I didn't make any noise complaints as it didn't keep my daughter up, just me lol. Next morning we go down and ask again if someone can plz fix the shower. Finally after waiting from 630pm to the next morning at 810am someome came to fix it with pliers and WD40.... Next time we come to the area I'll cough out an extra 70 bucks to stay somewhere we can actually shower at. One night here cost 140 bucks. Buyer beware. This is not the first time Wyndham properties have been shady with me either. I've had them literally give my room to another person prior to my arrival and ended up sleeping in my car. I'll pay whatever I need to pay going forward to never stay at a "Wyndham" property again."

"Not too bad of a location from the medical district, however at this moment there is a lot of road construction at the moment. We have stayed here a few times. A while back we booked a room and when we got there, they already gave the room to someone else. And yes we did book the room over 24hr in advance. So we tried one more time, we stayed from the 9th-11th, checking went smoothly. Then the Jacuzzi did not work. So we had to be moved to another room. Thankfully the Jacuzzi worked. Just a big hassle this time around."

"We arrived after 5 am Sunday only for them to try to upsell us by saying they had no 1 bed rooms as we left out he then says I have 1 left for around $80 and check out would be tomorrow ,which is Monday morning. Sunday at 11 am is when we receive a call to vacate ,so they said we only paid for that night so I continue to ask them if they would pay right at $90 for six hours to stay at a run down mold infested Days Inn. They then called a manager or owner on the phone only to have him talk over me and hang up like a little coward, so now I will be getting in touch with the Days Inn corporate branding department to have the Days Inn brand pulled from that establishment because of housekeeping/maintenance plus general upkeep that we think should hold par next to other well kept Days Inn. This place sucks all the way around , don't stay unless your a dope head or just plain out your ... If you as a owner already hung up with me why would you respond to my review with that load of Texas bull$%!+ like you did even though I talked to you with the respect that you deserve as a man and still no resolve. You are rude, disrespectful and now lower than a man plus a coward who hides behind a phone."

"We booked with this hotel through a booking service being told we were getting a handicapped accessible room, which we insisted we had to have. When we arrived, the desk clerk didn't even know what that meant and showed me a non-handicapped room as what we had booked. While walking with him to the room, I was appalled at the property conditions outside and the sort of people I saw hanging around - felt very unsafe. I asked to cancel the whole reservation as they didn't have a handicapped accessible room (and overall feeling of fear) and left. When I contacted the booking service, they refunded almost all but told me the hotel said we were a "no show" and were charging us for one night. REALLY?????? We were NOT a "no show" - we were there but never checked in and told him to cancel us in the system. We booked and paid for a specific type of room that they didn't have and not only that, we had no idea this property was so SCARY. Keeping our money is fraud and further upset us about the entire experience."

"Just wanted to say thank you to all the wonderfully kind employees at this particular location... especially Priya!!! She's incredibly helpful, and extremely patient, knowledgeable, and Beautiful inside and out! Definitely one of my better experiences at a Days Inn! Super friendly staff, and very accommodating. They also have ample truck parking for semi trucks! I definitely recommend!!!"
